 CALCS SHEET 3 AND ROOF FRAMING PLAN SHEET S3 (PREPARED
 BY DE BRITT & ASSOCIATES ENGINEERS).IT APPEARS THAT
 ADDITIONAL FRAMING MEMBERS WERE ADDED GRAPHICALLY.THE
 ALTERED PLAN SHOWS ROOF BEAMS WHICH ARE CONSISTENT WITH
 SHEET 3 OF CALCS.SHEET 3 STATES THAT 9.75' SPAN DOES
 NOT WORK FOR COMPONENT & CLADDING WIND PRESSURES, AND
 NEW DECK SPAN IS 4.8'.THE EXISTING PLAN APPEARS TO
 SHOW ONE ROOF FRAMING MEMBER IN THE CENTER, WHICH DOES
 NOT APPEAR ON THE NEW PLAN.DOES THIS GET REMOVED? SEE
 SHEET S1 PREPARED BY PBSJ, WHICH STATES "3ALL STEEL
 BEAMS ARE EXISTING".IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY S1 SHOWS THE
 ROOF FRAMING AS EXISTING AND NO CHANGES TO BE DONE, BUT
 THE CALCS SHEET 03 SHOW THAT A TOTAL OF 8 ROOF JOISTS
 ARE TO BE INSTALLED (EXISTING FRAMING HAS ONLY 3).IT
 IS NOT CLEAR WHY THE CALCS WOULD INDICATE THAT
 ADDITIONAL REINFORCEMENT IS NEEDED, BUT THE PLAN (WHICH
 IS WHAT THE CONTRACTOR AND INSPECTOR WILL USE TO DO THE
 WORK) DO NOT SHOW THIS REINFORCEMENT.
  
 10.PLEASE REMOVE HVHZ FROM DESIGN CRITERIA.IN THE
 PAST THERE HAVE BEEN SOME SIGNIFICANT DESIGN
 DIFFERENCES IN HVHZ, AND SOME HAVE NOT BEEN MORE
 STRINGENT (FOR INSTANCE, A STRESS INCREASE FOR STEEL
 WHICH WAS NEVER PERMITTED IN FBC2001 OR 2004).
 THEREFORE, DESIGN IS TO BE DONE TO FBC2004 MINIMUM.
  
 11.PT WOOD NAILERS ARE SHOWN.PROVIDE ENOUGH
 INFORMATION ABOUT THIS BUILDING TO SHOW THAT
 COMBUSTIBLES ARE PERMITTED.IF THIS IS A TYPE I OR II
 BUILDING, THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE PERMITTED IN
 FBC603.1.IF THIS IS NOT A TYPE I OR II BUILDING,
 PROVIDE A CODE SUMMARY (BUILDING TYPE FBC6, BUILDING
 HEIGHT AND AREA FBC5, SPRINKLER INFORMATION, OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION FBC 3 AND AREA PER OCCUPANCY) TO SHOW
 THAT COMBUSTIBLES CAN BE USED.
