 PLAN REVIEW UNDER THE 2004 FLORIDA BUILDING CODES WITH
 2007 REVISIONS, CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO
 CHAPTER 1 (W.P.B.), FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
 (F.A.C.), AND FLORIDA STATUTES (F.S.).
  
 THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE NUMBERED TO CORRESPOND WITH
 THE PREVIOUS PLUMBING PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS AS WELL AS
 THE DESIGNER'S RESPONSES FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUITY.
 NEW COMMENTS WILL BE SO NOTED FOLLOWING THE PREVIOUS
 PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS.
  
 1. **OK** COMMENT ADDRESSED, LETTERS HAVE BEEN
 FORWARDED TO KEN CONRAD CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR.
  
 2. SHEET S1 IS INDICATING A BATHROOM WITH A WATER
 CLOSET AND LAVATORY AND SHEET S-1 IS INDICATING A 4"
 SLAB-ON-GRADE. IS IT THE INTENTOF THIS FOUNDATION
 PERMIT TO POUR THE SLAB ON GRADE WITHOUT THE
 UNDERGROUND PLUMBIMG BEING INSTALLED. PLEASE CLARIFY
 PER CITY OF WPB AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 1, SECTION
 106.1.2 ADDITIONAL DATA REQUIRED.
 **RESONSE NOTED AND REVIEW OF THE NEW ATTACHED
 PLUMBING SHEETS WILL BE UNDER NEW COMMENTS.
  
 3. **PLUMBING PROVISO** PER CITY OF WPB AMENDMENTS TO
 CHAPTER 1, SECTION *105.13 PHASED PERMIT APPROVAL.
 AFTER SUBMITTAL OF THE APPROPRIATE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE
 A PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOUNDATIONS. THE
 HOLDER OF SUCH PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION SHALL PROCEED
 AT THE HOLDER'S OWN RISK WITH THE BUILDING OPERATION
 AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE THAT A PERMIT FOR THE ENTIRE
 STRUCTURE WILL BE GRANTED. CORRECTIONS MAY REQUIRED TO
 MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE TECHNICAL CODE.

 THE FOLLOWING ARE NEW COMMENTS.
  
 4. SHEET C1 USE AND OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION IS
 INDICATING ON THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL THAT MODERATE
 HAZARD STORAGE IS IN GROUP S-1. WHAT TYPES AND QUANTITY
 OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ARE GOING TO BE STORED? PER
 (W.P.B.) SECTION 106.1.2 ADDITIONAL DATA AND FBC
 PLUMBING SECTION 411 EMERGENCY SHOWER AND EYEWASH
 STATIONS MAY BE REQUIRED.
  
 5. SHEET P1.1 INDICATES FOUR SEPERATE RETAIL SPACES.
 PLEASE CLARIFY IF THE RETAIL SPACES HAVE ONE OWNER OR
 IF THERE ARE FOUR SEPERATE OWNERS. PER FBC PLUMBING
 SECTION 403.6 PUBLIC FACILITIES.CUSTOMERS, PATRONS AND
 VISITORS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH PUBLIC TOILET
 FACILITIES IN STRUCTURES AND TENANT SPACES INTENDED FOR
 PUBLIC UTILIZATION. PUBLIC TOILET FACILITIES SHALL BE
 LOCATED NOT MORE THAN ONE STORY ABOVE OR BELOW THE
 SPACE REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED WITH PUBLIC TOILET
 FACILITIES AND THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO SUCH FACILITIES
 SHALL NOT EXCEED A DISTANCE OF 500 FEET (152 M).
  
 6. SHEET P1.1 THE STORM DRAIN REQUIRES A TWO-WAY
 CLEANOUT OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. PER FBC PLUMBING
 SECTION 1101.8 CLEANOUTS REQUIRED (SECTION 708.3.5 ).
  
 7. SHEET P3.1 PLEASE CLARIFY IF THERE ARE PARAPET
 WALLS AND IF SO WHAT ARE THE CALCULATIONS? PER FBC
 PLUMING SECTION 1106.4 VERTICAL WALLS.
  
 8. SHEET P3.2 THE SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR RD-1 AND RD-2
 APPEARS LOW. MY CALCULATIONS COME TO 2517.5 SQ. FT. FOR
 RD-1 AND 2052 SQ. FT. FOR RD-2 AND THATS NOT
 CALCULATING IF THERE ARE PARAPET WALLS. PER FBC
 PLUMBING SECTION 1101.1 SCOPE AND 1106.4 VERTICAL
 WALLS.
  
 9. SHEET P4.1 PLUMBING SPECIFICATIONS (2) CODES AND
 STANDARDS (A) THE CODE STANDARDS REFERENCED ARE NOT
 COMPLIANT PLEASE DELETE THOSE CODE REFERENCE STANDARDS
 AND ADD IN ITS PLACE "FBC-2004 WITH 2007 REVISIONS".
  
 7. SHEET P4.1 PLUMBING SPECIFICATIONS (5) MATERIALS
 (F) AIR CHAMBERS ARE NOT APPROVED BY FBC PLUMBING
 SECTION 604.9 WATER HAMMER. HOWEVER IF IT IS THE INTENT
 TO USE AIR CHAMBERS THEY SHALL BE INSTALLED PER
 "STANDARD PDI-WH 201 RECHARGEABLE TYPE AIR CHAMBER. A
 DETAIL OF THIS TYPE OF AIR CHAMBER IS REQUIRED ON PLANS
 OR DELETE AIR CHAMBERS ON THE RESUBMITTAL.
  
 8. SHEET P4.1 SANITARY RISER A CLEANOUT IS REQUIRED AT
 THE BASE OF THE STACK ON RISER S-1, PER FBC PLUMBING
 SECTION 708.3.4 AND A TWO-WAY CLEANOUT IS REQUIRED AT
 THE JUNCTION OF THE BUILDING DRAIN AND BUILDING SEWER,
 PER FBC PLUMBING SECTION 708.3.5.
  
 9. SHEET P4.2 STORM RISERS CLEANOUTS ARE REQUIRED AT
 THE BASE OF THE VERTICAL STORM LEADERS, PER 1101.8
 (708.3.4) AND A TWO-WAY CLEANOUT IS REQUIRED ON THE
 HORIZONTAL STORM DRAINAGE PIPE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING,
 PER FBC PLUMBING 1101.8 (708.3.5).
  
 10. SHEET P4.2 STORM RISERS: THE STORM RISERS WERE
 REVIEWED PER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS PER FBC PLUMBING
 TABLE 1106.3 SLOPE OF 1/8 INCH PER FOOT (1-PERCENT). IF
 IT IS THE INTENT OF THE DESIGNER TO USE OTHER SLOPE
 REQUIREMENTS IT MUST BE CLEARLY INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
 PLEASE CORRECT ALL MAIN UNDERGROUND HORIZONTAL STORM
 DRAINAGE PIPING SIZES FOR THE ROOF DRAINS. PLEASE
 CORRECT THE FOLLOWING BRANCHES TO THE ABOVE GROUND
 HORIZONTAL STORM DRAINAGE PIPE TO RD-1, RD-2, RD-3, AND
 RD-5. PLEASE CORRECT ALL MAIN ABOVE GROUND HORIZONTAL
 STORM DRAINAGE PIPE SIZES FOR THE EMERGENCY DRAINS.
 PLEASE CORRECT THE FOLLOWING BRANCHES TO THE ABOVE
 GROUND HORIZONTAL STORM DRAINAGE PIPE TO ED-3, AND
 ED-5. PER FBC PLUMBING TABLE 1106.3 (1-PERCENT SLOPE).
