 01.THE PROJECT SITE ADDRESS SHALL BE IN THE TITLE
 BLOCK OF EACH SUBMITTED PLAN SHEET.
  
 02.STRUCTURES UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, OR
 DEMOLITION OPERATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH NFPA 241.
  
 03.COMBUSTIBLE WASTE MATERIALS, DUST, AND DEBRIS
 SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE AT THE END OF EACH SHIFT
 OR MORE FREQUENTLY AS NECESSARY FOR SAFE OPERATION.
  
 04.NFPA 101, LIFE SAFETY CODE, 2003 EDITION SHALL BE
 REFERENCED.
  
 05.BE ADVISED THAT THIS SCOPE OF WORK WILL REQUIRE A
 CONVERSION FROM THAT A OF RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANCY.NFPA
 101 - 2003 EDITION DOES NOT RECOGNIZE GROUP HOMES;
 THEREFORE LIST THE OCCUPANCY TYPE FOR THIS PROJECT (
 NEW DAY-CARE, NEW RESIDENTIAL BOARD AND CARE - SMALL
 FACILITY, ETC.) TO FURTHER BASE THE FIRE REVIEW.
  
 06.IF THE OCCUPANCY IS OTHER THAN RESIDENTIAL,
 ADDRESS NUMBERS (AS PER WEST PALM BEACH CODE) SHALL BE
 NO LESS THAN 6" IN HEIGHT AND NO LESS THAN 1" IN
 STROKE. DISPLAY/SHOW THE ADDRESS NUMBER ON THE
 APPROPIATE EXTERIOR ELEVATION WHICH FRONTS 38TH
 STREET.
  
 07.IN CONVERSIONS, DOORS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE 28
 " WIDE.
  
 08.BATHROOM DOORS SHALL BE AT LEAST 24" WIDE AND
 SHALL BE DESIGNED TO ALLOW OPENING FROM THE OUTSIDE
 DURING AN EMERGENCY WHEN LOCKED.
  
 09.ALL OTHER DOORS AND PATHS OF TRAVEL TO A MEANS OF
 ESCAPE SHALL BE AT LEAST 32" WIDE.
  
 10.EVERY CLOSET DOOR LATCH SHALL BE READILY OPENED
 FROM THE INSIDE.
  
 11.SLEEPING ROOMS THAT DO NOT HAVE A DOOR LEADING
 DIRECTLY TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING, SHALL HAVE AN
 OUTSIDE WINDOW PROVIDING A CLEAR OPENING OF NOT LESS
 THAN 5.7 SQ.FT. WITH THE WIDTH NOT LESS THAN 20" AND
 THE HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 24".THE BOTTOM OF THE
 OPENING SHALL BE NOT MORE THAN 44" ABOVE THE FLOOR.
  
 12.SPECIFY THE INTERIOR WALL AND CEILING FINISH
 MATERIALS IN TERMS OF CLASS A, CLASS B, OR CLASS C.
 SPECIFY INTERIOR FLOOR FINISH IN TERMS OF CLASS I OR
 CLASS II.
  
 13.A MANUAL FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WITH OCCUPANT
 NOTIFICATION, SHALL BE PROVIDED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT
 DELAY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 72, NATIONAL FIRE ALARM
 CODE, 2002 EDITION.
  
 14.IN CONVERSIONS, SPRINKLERS SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED
 IN SMALL BOARD AND CARE HOMES, SERVING EIGHT OR FEWER
 RESIDENTS, WHEN ALL OCCUPANTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO AS A
 GROUP TO MOVE RELIABLY TO A POINT OF SAFETY WITHIN 3
 MINUTES.PLEASE ADVISE AS TO THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS
 PROJECTED.
  
 15.THE SEPARATION WALLS OF THE SLEEPING ROOMS SHALL
 BE CAPABLE OF RESISTING FIRE FOR AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR.
  
 16.SLEEPING ROOM DOORS SHALL BE SUBSTANTIAL DOORS,
 SUCH AS THOSE OF 1 3/4-IN THICK, SOLID BONDED WOOD CORE
 CONSTRUCTION OR OF OTHER CONSTRUCTION OF EQUAL OR
 GREATER STABILITY AND FIRE INTEGRITY.
  
 17.DOORS SHALL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:(1)
 DOORS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH LATCHES OR OTHER
 MECHANISMS SUITABLE FOR KEEPING THE DOORS CLOSED;(2)
 NO DOOR SHALL BE ARRANGED TO PREVENT THE OCCUPANT FROM
 CLOSING THE DOOR;(3) DOORS SHALL BE SELF-CLOSING OR
 AUTOMATIC-CLOSING UNLESS THE BUILDING IS PROTECTED
 THROUGHOUT BY AN APPROVED, AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM.
  
 18.NO STOVE OR COMBUSTION HEATER SHALL BE LOCATED TO
 BLOCK ESCAPE IN CASE OF FIRE CAUSED BY THE MALFUNCTION
 OF THE STOVE OR HEATER.
  
  
 TO EXPEDITE THE PLAN REVIEW PROCESS, INCLUDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER INDICATING WHERE ON THE PLAN EACH COMMENT WAS
