 REVIEW UNDER EXISTING BUILDING CODE 2004, FLORIDA
 RESIDENTIAL CODE 2004 AND FBC 2004 WITH 2007
 REVISIONS.
  
 1- PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE A5 (BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION 7').FINISH FLOOR NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 6"
 ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION AS REQUIRED BY CITY CODE
 SEC. 94-546(1). NEED TO SPECIFY ON PLANS AND/OR SURVEY
 THE MINIMUM FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION.
  
 2-A) SURVEY SUBMITTED SAYS FLOOD ZONE "C". REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. CORRECT FLOOD ZONE IS "A5".
  
 B) SURVEY TO HAVE ORIGINAL SIGNATURE, NOT RUBBER
 STAMP AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 472 FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 3- REMAINDER:ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQUIRED
 PRIOR TO OBTAINING THE C.O. THIS INFORMATION TO BE
 PROVIDED TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR. COORDINATE WITH
 INSPECTORTO AVOID DELAYS OR CONFLICTS.
  
 4- PROVIDE COMPLETE DECK GUARDDETAILS/SPECS TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE R301.5 AND SEC. R312 OF 2004
 FLORIDA RESIDENTIAL CODE.
  
 5- HOW DO YOU ACCESS THE ROOF DECK?. EXTERIOR
 ELEVATIONS DON'T SHOW ANY DOORS LEADING TO THE ROOF
 DECK?.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY DCA RULE
 9B-72 FOR:
 A) PRECAST LINTELS. NOS #03-0605.04 SUBMITTED IS FOR
 4", 6" AND 12" LINTELS. DRAWINGS CALL FOR 8" LINTELS.
 PROVIDE CORRECT NOA.
  
 B) WHITE CEMENT TILE. EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS CALL FOR
 WHITE CEMENT TILE TO MATCH EXISTING.
  
 C) BAHAMA SHUTTERS IF THEY ARE NEW. PLANS ARE NOT
 CLEAR IF EXISTING OR NEW. AND,PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE, SEE ATTACHED SAMPLE,OR USE ANY
 OTHER WAY THAT PROVIDES COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR

 7- WHY SUBMITTING PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR SIMPSON
 STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS IF THERE ARE NONE SPECIFIED ON

 8- DESIGNEROF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.3.3 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 9- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY SPECIFIC 10D NAIL TO
 BE USED FORROOF TILE FASTENING. SEE PRODUCT APPROVAL.
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 106.1.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
 (ELEVATIONS CALL FOR ROOF TILE TO MATCH EXISTING).
 DESIGNER SPECIFIES INSTALLATION THAT MEETS HIS
 CALCULATIONS FOR UPLIFT RESISTANCE, PRODUCT APPROVAL IS
 JUST TO VERIFY THAT PROPOSED INSTALLATION MEETS THE
 DESIGN CRITERIA.
  
 10- ENERGY CALCULATIONS:
 A) ITEM 10(A) CALLS FOR UNDER ATTICAREA WITH R-19
 INSULATION. SEE PLANS FOR CORRECT TYPE OF CEILING
 ASSEMBLY AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. COORDINATE WITH
 ARCHITECT, INCLUDING INSULATION.
  
 B) PROVIDECOMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING BUILDER NAME.
  
 C) OWNER/AGENT TO SIGN AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM.
  
 11- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO COORDINATE WITH THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS AND SHOW HOW THE REQUIRED CEILING
 INSULATION WILL BE ACHIEVED TO COMPLY WITH THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 13-600 OF FBC 2004.
 PROVIDE DETAILS/SPECS. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS TO
 FBC 2004.
  
 12- SHEET A-1:
 A) REVISE ALLOWABLE SHIM SPACING ON DOOR AND WINDOW
 NOTE #7. SEE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR MAXIMUM SHIM SPACE
 ALLOWED. AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 106.1.2 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC 2004.
  
 B) PRODUCT APPROVALS NOAS NUMBERS LISTED FOR DOORS
 AND WINDOWS DON'T MATCH THOSE PROVIDED BY THE
 CONTRACTOR. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 C) CODE SPECIFICATIONS CALLS FOR FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE 2004 WITH 2006 REVISIONS. CORRECT REVISIONS TO BE
 REFERENCED ARE THE 2007 REVISIONS AS OF JULY 1ST 2007.
 UPDATE AS REQUIRED.
  
 D) ROOM FINISH NOTE #2 DOESN'T APPLY TO THIS
 PROJECT. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 13- SHEET A-2:EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS ON THE LEFT OF
 THE KITCHEN AREA ARE "INSWING"DOORS AND ARE TO BE
 RELOCATED. WHERE ARE THESE DOOR RELOCATED TO ?.PLANS
 SHOW "OUTSWING" PAIR OF FRENCH DOORSIN THE SAME FOYER
 AREA. ARE THESE THE SAME DOORS? DOORS CAN'T BE SWITCHED
 FROM INSWING TO OUTSWING BECAUSE THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 ARE NOT THE SAME.PROVIDE CLARIFICATION AS REQUIRED
 AND PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED.
  
 14- SHEET A-3:
 A) STEEL ANGLE SIZE SHOWN ON DETAIL2/A-3 DOESN'T
 MATCH SIZE SHOWN ON ROOF SLAB FRAMING PLAN. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
