 CODE/2004 DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN
 INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO
 THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO
 CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION
 SHALL BE SPECIFIC TO THE TECHNICAL CODES "SHALL NOT BE
 CITED AS A WHOLE OR IN PART, NOR THE TERM "LEGAL" OR
 ITS EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR SPECIFIC
 INFORMATION". CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND

 CORRECT CONSTRUCTION TYPE OF IIA REQUIRING 1 HR
 PROTECTION, SEE TABLE 601. THIS IS A 4 STORY BUILDING
 NOT A THREE STORY BUILDING.
  
 3)THIS IS A 4 STORY BUILDING THAT ENVOKES THE STATE
 STATUTES FOR THRESHOLD BUILDINGS, 4 STORIES AND MORE IN
 HEIGTH. THE FOLLOWING THREE ITEMS SHALL BE REQUIRED
 BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE.
 3A)THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLANFL S. S. 553.71(7)
 " THRESHOLD BUILDING" MEANING ANY BUILDING WHICH IS
 GREATER THAN (3) STORIES OR 50 FT IN HEIGHT, OR WHICH
 HAS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AS DENIED IN
 THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ FT IN AREA
 AND AN OCCUPANT CONTENT OF GREATER THAN 500 PERSONS.
  
 105.13.1 THE ENFORCING AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A SPECIAL
 INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON A
 THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURALINSPECTION
 PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT FOR
 THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING. THE PURPOSE
 OF THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN IS TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO THAT
 THE BUILDING CAN BE ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE PERMITTED DOCUMENTS.

 AMENDMENT 105.13.4.4 ALL PLANS FOR THE BUILDING WHICH
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE ARCHITECT
 OR ENGINEER OF RECORD CONTAIN A STATEMENT THAT, TO THE
 BEST OF THE ARCHITECT'S PR ENGINEER'S KNOWLEDGE, THE
 PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE
 FIRE-SAFETY STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE LOCAL
 AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION AND 633
 FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 4) TABLE 601 PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR THE 1 HR FIRE
 PROOFING FOR THE FLOOR FRAMING MEMBERS.
  
 5) SHEET A-2.1 THE THIRD FLOOR CORRIDOR IS INDICATED AS
 A 1-HR RATED CORRIDOR, BUT SECTIONS OF SAID WALL STILL
 DO NOT INDICATE A FIRE RATING. TABLE 1016.1 INDICATES
 THAT NO FIRE RATING IS REQUIRED BUT IF THE DESIGN TEAM
 WANTS TO BUILD TO A MORE RESTRICTIVE WE ARE JUST NOTING
 THAT THE CORRIDOR IS NOT TOTALLY 1 HR FIRE RATED.
  
 6) SHEET A-2.1 HAS TWO DETAILS BUT THEY ARE MARKED AS
 A-2.2 PLEASE CORRECT.
 6A) DETAIL 02/A-2.2 INDICATES SHAFT WALL CONSTRUCTION
 THAT DOES TIE INTO THE CORRIDOR PLEASE SPECIFY THE WALL
 RATING 707.4.
  
 7) SHEET A2.3 DETAIL# 06 INDICATES 1 HR RATINGS FOR
 STEEL COLUMNS OUT OF THE 1997 STANDARD BUILDING CODE
 PLEASE UPDATE TO THE 2004 FBC.
  
 8)PLANS INDICATE NEW PREENGINEERED A/C STAND ON THE
 ROOF, WILL REQUIRE (2) COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVALS, THE
 CUT SHEET SUBMITTED WILL NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING:
 PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED WITH PERMIT
 APPLICATION AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2003 ARE REQUIRED TO
 COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL SYSTEM. FOR
 INFORMATION PLEASE SEE THE STATE WEBSITE AT
 WWW.FLORIDABUILDING.ORG. PRODUCTS WITH STATEWIDE
 APPROVAL ARE REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED WITH A COVER
 SHEET THAT LISTS THE PRODUCT IDENTITY NUMBER FROM THE
 STATE. IF THE PRODUCT DOES NOT HAVE STATEWIDE APPROVAL,
 SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL OR
 SITE SPECIFIC FORM PER RULE 9B-72. SEE ATTACHMENT.
