 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3) ONE WALL OF THE ADDITION IS LESS THAN 6 FEET FROM
 THE PROPERTY LINE. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R302.1 EXTERIOR
 WALLS.
 EXTERIOR WALLS SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM)
 SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN A ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE
 RATING WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL
 NOT EXTEND TO A POINT CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM
 AN ADJACENT PROJECTION OR WALL.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R806.1 AND R806.2 FOR ROOF
 VENTILATION.
  
 5) SPECIFY THE STUD SPACING AT THE EXTERIOR WALLS. FBC
 106.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS AND R602.2.2.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R403.1.4 MINIMUM DEPTH. ALL
 EXTERIOR FOOTINGS SHALL BE PLACED AT LEAST 12 INCHES
 (305 MM) BELOW THE UNDISTURBED GROUND SURFACE.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R319.1 LOCATION REQUIRED. IN
 AREAS SUBJECT TO DECAY DAMAGE AS ESTABLISHED BY TABLE
 R301.2(1) , THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS SHALL REQUIRE THE
 USE OF AN APPROVED SPECIES AND GRADE OF LUMBER,
 PRESSURE TREATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AWPA C1, C2, C3,
 C4, C9, C15, C18, C22, C23, C24, C28, C31, C33, P1, P2
 AND P3, OR DECAY-RESISTANT HEARTWOOD OF REDWOOD, BLACK
 LOCUST, OR CEDARS. 5. WOOD SIDING, SHEATHING AND WALL
 FRAMING ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING HAVING A
 CLEARANCE OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM) FROM THE
 GROUND.
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 704
 INSPECTION FOR TERMITES
 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FOR TERMITE
 INFESTATION, CLEARANCE BETWEEN EXTERIOR WALL COVERINGS
 AND FINAL EARTH GRADE ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING
 SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM). EXCEPTIONS:
 1.PAINT OR DECORATIVE CEMENTITIOUS FINISH LESS
 THAN 5 / 8 INCH (17.1 MM) THICK ADHERED DIRECTLY TO THE
 MASONRY FOUNDATION SIDEWALL.
 2.ACCESS OR VEHICLE RAMPS WHICH RISE TO THE
 INTERIOR FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION FOR THE WIDTH OF SUCH
 RAMPS ONLY.
 3.A 4-INCH (102 MM) INSPECTION SPACE ABOVE PATIO
 AND GARAGE SLABS AND ENTRY AREAS.
 4.IF THE PATIO HAS BEEN SOIL TREATED FOR TERMITES,
 THE FINISH ELEVATION MAY MATCH THE BUILDING INTERIOR
 FINISH FLOOR ELEVATIONS ON MASONRY CONSTRUCTION ONLY.
 5.MASONRY VENEERS.
  
 9) SPECIFY THE SOFFIT COVERING MATERIAL ON THE PLANS.
 IF IT IS VINYL OR ALUMINUM, SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS
 WITH ADEQUATE DESIGN PRESSURES. FBC 106.1.2 CITY
 AMENDMENTS
  
 10) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R401.3 DRAINAGE.
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.
  
 11) R613.6.1.1 UNLESS OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL
 EXTEND BEYOND THE INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR
 FRAME SUCH THAT FULL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDED.
 THE WINDOW AND EXTERIOR JAMB DETAILS ON S-1 DO NOT SHOW
 THE BUCKS FULLY SUPPORTING THE WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMES.
 PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 12) THE HTS CONNECTORS ON SHEET S-2OF THE SIMPSON
 CONNECTOR SCHEDULE HAS THE WRONG NUMBER OF FASTENERS
 SPECIFIED. THE SIMPSON CATALOG SPECIFIES 24- 10D X
 1-1/2" NAILS OR 20- 10D NAILS TO ACHIEVE THE 1450
 UPLIFT. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 13) NOTE: SOME OF THE UPLIFTS SPECIFIED FOR THE TRUSSES
 ON THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN ON SHEET S-2 ARE LESS THAN
 SPECIFIED ON THE TRUSS DRAWINGS, HOWEVER, THE SPECIFIED
 CONNECTORS ARE ADEQUATE.
  
 14) THE COVERSHEET FOR THE TRUSS DRAWINGS INCORRECTLY
 SPECIFIES THE 2001 FBC. THE APPLICABLE CODE FOR THIS
 PROJECT IS THE 2004 FBC. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 15) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R308.4 FOR SAFETY GLAZING IN
 THE BATHROOM WINDOW.
  
 16) PLEASE CLARIFY IF THE WINDOWS AND DOORS IN THE
 EXISTING STRUCTURE ARE BEING REPLACED. IF SO THEN
 SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE FRONT DOOR AND WINDOWS
 IF DIFFERENT FROM THOSE SUBMITTED FOR THE ADDITION. FBC
 106.1.1 CITY AMENDMENTS
  
 17) THE PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED FOR THE TRACO
 SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS ARE EXPIRED (SEE NOA
 NO.05-0729.03).PLEASE SUBMIT CURRENT PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY FAC RULE 9B-72.
  
 18) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE FLAT AND SLOPE
 ROOF COVERING MATERIALS ( APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER) . SPECIFY THE APPROVED ASSEMBLY, FASTENING
 OPTION AND DESIGN PRESSURE FOR THE FLAT ROOF WITH RAS
 117 CALCULATIONS FOR ENHANCED FASTENING.
  
 19) SUBMIT 2 COPIES OF A KEY PLAN AND INSTALLATION
 SCHEDULE FOR THE STORM PANELS. SPECIFY THE MOUNT TYPE,
 THE ANCHORS, THE ANCHOR SPACING, THE EDGE DISTANCE,
 GLASS SEPARATION, SPANS, ETC. SEE ATTACHED SAMPLE.
  
 20) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R310.4 THE TEMPORARY
 INSTALLATION OR CLOSURE OF STORM SHUTTERS, PANELS, AND
 OTHER APPROVED HURRICANE PROTECTION DEVICES SHALL BE
 PERMITTED ON EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS
 DURING THE THREAT OF A STORM. SUCH DEVICES SHALL NOT BE
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS OF
 SECTION R310.1.4 . WHILE SUCH PROTECTION IS PROVIDED,
 AT LEAST ONE MEANS OF ESCAPE FROM THE DWELLING OR
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE PROVIDED. THE MEANS OF ESCAPE
 SHALL BE WITHIN THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE DWELLING OR
 DWELLING UNIT AND SHALL NOT BE LOCATED WITHIN A GARAGE
 WITHOUT A SIDE HINGED DOOR LEADING DIRECTLY TO THE
 EXTERIOR. OCCUPANTS IN ANY PART OF THE DWELLING OR
 DWELLING UNIT SHALL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE MEANS OF
 ESCAPE WITHOUT PASSING THROUGH A LOCKABLE DOOR NOT
 UNDER THEIR CONTROL.
