 LEVEL 1 ALTERATION
  
 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) VALUE OF THE WORK APPEARS TO BE LOW. THE VALUE OF
 THE WORK IS REQUIRED TO INCLUDE THE LABOR AND MATERIAL
 COSTS THAT A CONTRACTOR WOULD TYPICALLY CHARGE TO DO
 THE WORK.
  
 3) FBC *106.1.1 REQUIRES THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS TO
 SPECIFY THE EXTENT OF THE PROPOSED WORK.SPECIFY WHICH
 WINDOWS ARE TO BE REPLACED. IF WINDOWS OTHER THAN THE
 ONES SPECIFIED ARE DETERMINED TO NEED REPLACEMENT AFTER
 THE PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED A REVISION CAN BE SUBMITTED
 FOR THE ADDITIONAL WORK.
  
 4) THE FIELD INSPECTOR MAY REQUIRE REVISIONS OR
 ADDITIONAL DRAWINGS DETAILING THE REPAIRS TO THE
 STRUCTURE TO BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.
  
 5) INSULATION SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN THE EXTERIOR WALLS
 AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 13 OF THE FBC.
  
 6) TWO COPIES OF THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE REQUIRED TO
 BE SUBMITTED.
  
 7) THIS STRUCTURE MAY HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO LVING
 SPACE WITHOUT PERMITS. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS MAY RESULT
 BASED ON THE ZONING REVIEW. AN ADDRESS MAY BE REQUIRED
 FOR THE COTTAGE.
  
 8) IF THE STRUCTURE WAS CONVERTED TO LIVING SPACE
 WITHOUT PERMITS, THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION WILL NEED TO BE CHANGED TO INDICATE A
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY FROM GARAGE TO AN APARTMENT. IMPACT
 FEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY.
 A STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT FOR COMPLIANCE WITH WINDLOADS
 WILL BE REQUIRED AS WELL AS OTHER REQUIREMENTS
 SPECIFIED IN THE 2004 FBC EXISTING BUILDING CODE FOR
 CHANGES OF OCCUPANCIES. THE OTHER OPTION IS TO CONVERT
 THE STRUCTURE BACK TO A GARAGE.
