 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) WPB AMENDMENTS 106.1.2* SUBMIT A FLOOR PLAN ALONG
 WITH THE ELEVATION DRAWINGS SHOWING THE SIZE OF EACH
 OPENING FOR THE NEW WINDOWS. THE DRAWINGS SHALL CONTAIN
 THE TITLE BLOCK OF THE DESIGNER OF RECORD GEORGE F.
 WHITE. IF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE WILL BE CUT OPEN TO
 INSTALL THE ADDITIONAL WINDOWS, A HEADER AND SILL
 DETAIL IS REQUIRED SHOWING ALL MATERIALS AND THE SIZE
 OF EACH OPENING. THE ADDITIONAL COST FOR THE NEW WORK
 SHALL BE STATED ON THE REVISION APPLICATION.
  
 2)DUE TO THE FACT THE ORIGINAL SHEETS ARE BEING
 ALTERED, A NEW SHEET SHALL BE SUBMITTED FROM THE
 ARCHITECT OF RECORD. THAT SHEET SHALL SHOW ALL THE
 CHANGES WITH DETAIL ELEVATION DRAWINGS. THE ARCHITECT
 TITLE BLOCK SHALL BE INCLUDED ON ALL NEW SHEETS.
  
 3)FBC 1025.4.1
 EVERY ROOM OR SPACE GREATER THAN 250 SQUARE FEET IN
 EDUCATIONAL OCCUPANCIES USED FOR CLASSROOM OR OTHER
 EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OR NORMALLY SUBJECT TO STUDENT
 OCCUPANCY AND EVERY ROOM OR SPACE NORMALLY SUBJECT TO
 CLIENT OCCUPANCY, OTHER THAN BATHROOMS, IN GROUP D
 OCCUPANCIES SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN ONE OUTSIDE WINDOW
 FOR EMERGENCY RESCUE THAT COMPLIES WITH THE FOLLOWING:
  
  
 1.SUCH WINDOWS SHALL BE OPENABLE FROM THE INSIDE
 WITHOUT THE USE OF TOOLS AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR
 OPENING OF NOT LESS THAN 20 INCHES IN WIDTH, 24 INCHES
 IN HEIGHT, AND 5.7 SQUARE FEET IN AREA.
  
 2.THE BOTTOM OF THE OPENING SHALL BE NOT MORE THAN
 44 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOR, AND ANY LATCHING DEVICE
 SHALL BE CAPABLE OF BEING OPERATED FROM NOT MORE THAN
 54 INCHES ABOVE THE FINISHED FLOOR.
