 BUILDING SETS WITHIN A FOOT OF THE PROPERTY LINE, WITH
 2 STOREFRONT OPENINGS, TABLE 602 WILL REQUIRE THIS WALL
 TO BE A 3HR RATED WALL AND TABLE 704.8 INDICATES THERE
 CAN BE NO OPENINGS.
  
 2) SHEET A7.01:
  
 2A) PLANS INDICATE THE USE OF A C10 X 25 CHANNEL TO BE
 MOUNTED TO THE EXISTING BEARING BLOCK WALL, AND TO BE
 GROUTED, WHAT STRENGTH WILL THE DESIGN MIX BE? COURSE
 OR FINE GROUT?
  
 2B) THE PLANS INDICATE THE C10 X 25 CHANNEL BUT THERE
 ARE TWO UNKNOWNS:
 1) HOW FAR DOES THE CHANNEL GO PAST THE COLUMN LINE.
 2) WHERE DOES THE FIRST EMBED START FROM THE END OF THE
 C- CHANNEL.
  
 3) SHEET A7.01; 106.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 REQUIRED, 1609.1.2, & RULE 9B-72.
  
 3A) IN DETAIL 2 & 3 IS ILLUSTRATED A INSET ALCOVE WITH
 STEEL STUD CEILING JOIST. THE PLANS INDICATE A STEEL
 ANGLE 1 1/2" X 11/2" X 1/4" @ 4'-0" O.C. THE PLANS LACK
 THE ATTCHMENT METHOD
 AT THE STEEL ANGLE HEADER NOR DO THEY PROVIDE DETAIL AT
 THE BAR JOIST, WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BAR JOIST DO NOT
 LINE UP WITH THE FOUR FT ON CENTER?
  
 3B) THE SECOND ISSUE IS THE STEEL ANGLE HEADER NO
 SIZING INFORMATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED, THE ONLY DETAIL
 PROVIDED IS THE BACK WALL, THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE A
 CUT SECTION THROUGH THE SIDE WALL OF THE ALCOVE TO SEE
 IF THE HEADER IS CONTINIOUS AND WHAT TYPE OF BRACING IS
 REQUIRED FROM THE BAR JOIST FOR LATERAL SUPPORT.
  
 3C) THE DETAIL ALSO DOES NOT INDICATE THE USE OF ANY
 CORNER POST MAKING THE ALCOVE HANG INDEPNDENTLY FROM
 THE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS LOCATED ABOVE THE NEW ALCOVE
 FRAMING. WHILE SHEET A9.01 DOES INDICATE A 90 DEGREE
 OUTSIDE CORNER THE PLANS NOR ANY PRODUCT APPROVALS
 INDICATE ANY INSIDE CORNERS WITH THE SILL AND HEADER
 LOCATED WITHIN THE INTERIOR SPACE. PLEASE PROVIDE
 PRODUCT TESTING INDICATING LARGE MISSILE TESTING AS
 WELL AS WIND PRESSURE. SHEET 18, 19 & 19A ALL INDICATE
 WHERE TTHE EXTERIOR OF THE WINDOW FRAME IS LOCATED
 MAKING THE DETAIL A OUTSIDE OR EXTERIOR CORNER WITH THE
 FRAMING LOCATED WITHIN THE TENANT SPACE.
  
 3D) WITHIN THE PRODUCT APPROVAL (NOA 08-1104.03) PLEASE
 INDICATE THE GLAZING OPTION AND MULLION FOR THIS
 EFFECTS THE SIZE AND PRESSURE OF THE WINDOW OPENINGS.
  
 4) THE SCOPE OF WORK HAS DRAMATICALLY CHANGED PLEASE
 UPDATE THE VALUE OF WORK TO BE COMPLETED UNDERTHIS
 PERMIT. W P B ADMINISTRTIVE CODE 108.2 SCHEDULE OF
 PERMIT FEES. ON BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL, AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS OR ALTERATIONS
 REQUIRING A PERMIT, A FEE FOR EACH PERMIT SHALL BE PAID
 AS REQUIRED, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE
 ESTABLISHED BY THE APPLICABLE GOVERNING AUTHORITY.
  
 108.3* BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFRENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
