 A) PURSUANT TO THE FLORIDA STATUES, CHAPTER 471.003
 QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRACTICE; EXEMPTIONS: THE FOLLOWING
 SHALL APPLY:
  
  
 (3)NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CHAPTER OR
 OF ANY OTHER LAW, NO LICENSED ENGINEER WHOSE PRINCIPAL
 PRACTICE IS CIVIL OR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING, OR
 EMPLOYEE OR SUBORDINATE UNDER THE RESPONSIBLE
 SUPERVISION OR CONTROL OF THE ENGINEER, IS PRECLUDED
 FROM PERFORMING ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES WHICH ARE PURELY
 INCIDENTAL TO HER OR HIS ENGINEERING PRACTICE, NOR IS
 ANY LICENSED ARCHITECT, OR EMPLOYEE OR SUBORDINATE
 UNDER THE RESPONSIBLE SUPERVISION OR CONTROL OF THE
 ARCHITECT, PRECLUDED FROM PERFORMING ENGINEERING
 SERVICES WHICH ARE PURELY INCIDENTAL TO HER OR HIS
 ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE. HOWEVER, NO ENGINEER SHALL
 PRACTICE ARCHITECTURE OR USE THE DESIGNATION
 "ARCHITECT" OR ANY TERM DERIVED THEREFROM, AND NO
 ARCHITECT SHALL PRACTICE ENGINEERING OR USE THE
 DESIGNATION "ENGINEER" OR ANY TERM DERIVED THEREFROM.
  
 THEREFORE, A LICENSED ARCHITECT SHALL PREPARE THE
 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS SINCE THE DESIGNATED SCOPE OF WORK
 IS NOT INCIDENTAL TO THE STRUCTURAL SCOPE OF WORK.
  
  
 1)PLEASE INDICATE LEVEL OF ALTERATION PURSUANT TO THE
 FEBC:
  
 301.5 . A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OR AN
 OWNER MUST ELECT ONE OR A COMBINATION OF
 LEVELS OF ALTERATION PURSUANT TO SECTION

 4) CHANGE CONSTRUCTION NOTES #1 TO REFLECT THE CURRENT
 BUILDING CODES.
  
 5) INDICATETHE FIRE-RATED WALL PARTITIONS ON SHEETS
 A-6 THRU A-9. SHOW EXISTING DOOR FIRE RATINGS.
  
 6) REQUIRE APPROVED FIRE-STOPPING DETAILS FOR
 FLOOR/CEILING/WALL PENETRATIONS:
  
 712.3.1.2 THROUGH-PENETRATION FIRESTOP SYSTEM. THROUGH
 PENETRATIONS SHALL BE PROTECTED BY AN APPROVED
 PENETRATION FIRESTOP SYSTEM INSTALLED AS TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 814 OR UL 1479, WITH A MINIMUM
 POSITIVE PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL OF 0.01 INCH (2.49 PA)
 OF WATER AND SHALL HAVE AN F RATING OF NOT LESS THAN
 THE REQUIRED FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE WALL
 PENETRATED.
  
 7) PLEASE SUBMIT A LIFE SAFETY PLAN. INDICATE TRAVEL
 DISTANCES, MEANS OF EGRESS, ETC.
  
 8) THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION IS FOR A CONDO CONVERSION.
 THIS REPRESENTS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION,
 SINCE THE EXISTING BUILDING WAS CLASSIFIED AS A R-2
 (DORMITORY). THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICAITON FOR A
 CONDOMINIUM IS R-3. THE BUILDING SHALL MEET ALL OF THE
 REQUIREMENTS AS STATED WITHIN THE FLORIDA EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE:
  
 SECTION 812
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 812.1COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 7.
 THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING
 MAY BE CHANGED, PROVIDED THAT THE BUILDING MEETS ALL OF
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 7 APPLIED THROUGHOUT THE
 BUILDING FOR THE NEW OCCUPANCY GROUP AND COMPLIES WITH
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS 802 THROUGH 812.
  
 9) PLEASE INDICATE THE TYPE OF THE EXISTING ROOF
 SLAB/FLOOR SLABS. SHOW THICKNESS ANDTHE STRENGTH OF
 THE EXISTING CONCRETE.
  
 10) PLEASE SUBMIT STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS SHOWING THE
 ADDITONAL IMPOSED LOADS AND ALL OTHER APPLICABLE LOADS
 BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ROOF RECREATIONAL DECK:
  
 707.6ADDITIONAL LOADS.
 WHERE GRAVITY LOADING IS INCREASED ON THE ROOF OR FLOOR
 OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE, ALL STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
 AFFECTED BY SUCH INCREASE SHALL MEET THE GRAVITY LOAD
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS WHOSE STRESS IS NOT INCREASED BY
 MORE THAN 5 PERCENT.
 2. BUILDINGS OF GROUP R OCCUPANCY WITH NO MORE THAN
 FIVE DWELLING UNITS OR SLEEPING UNITS USED SOLELY FOR
 RESIDENTIAL PURPOSES THAT ARE ALTERED BASED ON THE
 CONVENTIONAL LIGHT-FRAME CONSTRUCTION METHODS AS
 DEFINED IN CHAPTER 2.
  
 11)INDICATE CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 JACUZZIS. SHOW LOAD CALCULATIONS.
  
 12) MISSING BUILDING/FLOOR PLAN/BALCONY DIMENSIONS.
  
 13) SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR THE NEW BALCONY
 GUARDRAILING.
  
 14) SHOW LOAD CALCULATIONS FOR NEW BALCONY SLABS.
  
 15) SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR THE PRE-FABRICATED METAL
 STAIRS SHOWN ON SHEET A-8.
  
 16) SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS FOR PRE-FAB CONTINUOUS STUDDED
 METAL ANGLE.
  
 17) PLEASE SHOW ALL APPLICABLE WORK/DETAILS INCIDENTAL
 TO ITEM #7/#8 ON SHEET A-0, UNDER
 SCOPE OF WORK.
  
 18) SHOW THE TYPE OF EXISTING ROOF COVERING. THE ROOF
 COVERING SHALL BE MAINTAINED AS PER THE FOLLOWING
 SECTION:
  
 1503.1 GENERAL.
 ROOF DECKS SHALL BE COVERED WITH APPROVED ROOF
 COVERINGS SECURED TO THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IN
 ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CHAPTER. ROOF COVERINGS
 SHALL BE DESIGNED, INSTALLED AND MAINTAINED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH
 THIS CODE AND THE APPROVED MANUFACTURER?S INSTRUCTIONS
 SUCH THAT THE ROOF COVERING SHALL SERVE TO PROTECT THE
 BUILDING OR STRUCTURE.
  
 PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THE ROOF COVERING WILL BE MAINTAINED
 OR HOW A RE-ROOFING APPLICATION WOULD BE PERMITTED WITH
 THE
 WOOD DECK IN PLACE.
  
 19) SHOW INTERIOR DEMOLITION IN THE SCOPE OF WORK AND
 ON FLOOR PLANS.
  
 20) PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THESE PLANS AND APPLICABLE
 INFORMATION ARE INCOMPLETE. THEREFORE, THIS REVIEWER
 COULD NOT PERFORM A COMPLETE BUILDING PLAN REVIEW.THE
 NOTED COMMENTS SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS FINAL
