 TYPE III B.PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING -
  
 A.PLEASE ADVISE AS TO WHERE THIS LANGUAGE IN THE
 COMMENTARY IS LOCATED AS I AM UNABLE TO FIND IT.ALSO
 PLEASE NOTE THE INCONSISTENCY; THE 2001 CODE CLASSIFIED
 BUILDINGS AS "PROTECTED" AND "UNPROTECTED", NOT "A" OR
 "B".
  
 B.THE COMMENTARY AND THE CODE BOTH STATE THAT A 2HOUR
 FIRE RESISTANCE RATING IS REQUIRED FOR TYPE III B; SEE
 PAGE 6-2 OF THE COMMENTARY AND FBC602.3,FBC TABLE
 601.ALSO SEE ATTACHED COMMENTARY WHICH I HAVE
 HIGHLIGHTED.
  
 C.PLANS STATE THAT THE EXTERIOR WALL IS 1 HOUR;
 THEREFORE, CANNOT BE A TYPE III B.IF THE PLANS ARE
 INCORRECT AND THE EXTERIOR BEARING WALLS ARE 2 HOUR,
 PLEASE REVISE PLAN AND PROVIDE A DETAIL SHOWING HOW THE
 EXISTING WALLS COMPLY WITH THE 2HOUR REQUIREMENT AS I
 BELIEVE THE BUILDING WAS PERMITTED WITH NO FIRE
 RESISTANCE REQUIRED FOR EXTERIOR WALLS.
  
 D.PLEASE SEE FBC 506.2 REGARDING FRONTAGE INCREASES;
 COULD THIS SECTION APPLY?CALCULATIONS WERE PROVIDED
 WHICH SHOW ALLOWABLE OPENINGS BUT DO NOT STATE DISTANCE
 TO PROPERTY LINE.BASED ON FBC TABLE 704.8, 45%
 INDICATES THAT EACH EXTERIOR WALL IS 20-25' FROM THE
 PROPERTY LINE; THEREFORE, IT APPEARS THAT A FRONTAGE
 INCREASE MAY POSSIBLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
  
 5.)REGARDING IMPACT FEES, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT PALM
 BEACH COUNTY HAS DETERMINED THAT IMPACT FEES ARE NOT
 REQUIRED AT THIS TIME.HOWEVER, FUTURE TENANT
 BUILDOUTS MAY REQUIRE AN IMPACT FEE ASSESSMENT (PER
 WILLIE SWOPE AND GWEN, PALM BEACH COUNTY, 233-5025).
