| | CONDENSING UNITS. THE DETAIL ON PG M.107 INDICATES |
| | CURBS ARE TO "ANCHOR OR BOLT TO ROOF STRUCTURE AS REQ'D |
| | BY LOCAL CODES." THERE ARE NO LOCAL CODES WHICH GIVE |
| | DESIGNS FOR STRUCTURAL ATTACHMENTS. THE STRUCTURAL |
| | ENGINEER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGNING AN ATTACHMENT |
| | METHOD DESIGNED TO MEET WIND LOAD REQUIREMENTS IN |
| | ACCORDANCE WITH FBC 1609. THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER HAS |
| | PROVIDED A DETAIL FOR FRAMING OF THE ROOF OPENING FOR |
| | THE CURB ON PG S-3, BUT NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED FOR |
| | HOW THE CURB IS TO BE ATTACHED TO THIS STEEL FRAMING. |
| | PROVIDE INFORMATION ON TYPE AND SPACING OF |
| | ATTACHMENTS. |

| | 2. IF THE EQUIPMENT LIFTING LUGS ARE TO BE USED FOR |

| | PACKAGE UNIT WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO BUILDING |
| | COMPONENTS IS NOT ACCEPTED. THE UNIT SITS OVER A ROOF |
| | CURB WHICH LEAVES THE UNDERSIDE OF THE UNIT EXPOSED TO |
| | THE INTERIOR OF THE BUILDING. IF THE CONDENSATE DRAIN |
| | PAN OVERFLOWS, THE WATER FROM THE PAN WILL MOST LIKELY |
| | FLOW INTO THE BUILDING WITH THE POTENTIAL TO DAMAGE ANY |

| | ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, CEILINGS, ETC. AUXILIARY DRAIN |
