 12)THE SIMPSON CATALOG INDICATES THAT THE LATERAL
 L0ADS DO NOT APPLY FOR REDUCED FASTENERS ON THE TRUSS
 CONNECTORS. PER TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH SIMPSON'S
 ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT THE REDUCTION CALULATIONS FOR
 UPLIFT SHOULD ONLY BE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF NAILS IN
 THE STRAP AND NOT THE SEAT OF THE HETAL CONNECTORS,
 WHICH REDUCES THE UPLIFT VALUE BY 40 PERCENT. BECAUSE
 THE LATERAL LOADS OF THE TRUSS CONNECTORS IS REQUIRED
 TO RESIST WINDLOADS, ALL OF THE NAILS SPECIFIED FOR THE
 CONNECTOR IN THE CATALOG SHOULD BE USED.

 SHEET 3 CONTAINS SOME ERRORS. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED IN

 THE WRONG EDITION OF ASCE 7 IS SPECIFIED. REPLACE ASCE
