 SURFACE OR SHALL BE CONTINUOUS TO THE HANDRAIL OF AN
 ADJACENT STAIR FLIGHT. WHERE HANDRAILS ARE NOT
 CONTINUOUS BETWEEN FLIGHTS, THE HANDRAILS SHALL EXTEND
 HORIZONTALLY AT LEAST 12 INCHES (305 MM) BEYOND THE TOP
 RISER AND CONTINUE TO SLOPE FOR THE DEPTH OF ONE TREAD
 BEYOND THE BOTTOM RISER.

 AND BEAMS. ALSO INDICATE THE SIZE OF THE HOLES, THE
 TYPE OF BOLTS. SHOW THE DESIGN BEARING LOAD OF THE
 BEAMS AND COLUMNS.

 FOR FLOOR AREAS. LIVE LOAD REDUCTION OF THE UNIFORMLY
 DISTRIBUTED FLOOR LIVE LOADS, IF USED IN THE DESIGN,

 LIVE LOADS PER SQUARE FOOT (M 2 ) OF AREA COVERED FOR
 WHICH THE BUILDING IS DESIGNED. OCCUPANCY PERMITS FOR
 BUILDINGS HEREAFTER ERECTED SHALL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL
 THE FLOOR LOAD SIGNS, REQUIRED BY SECTION 1603.3 , HAVE
 BEEN INSTALLED. FOR STAIRS LOAD SEE FBC 1607.1
