 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT
 MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2)SPECIFY THE DISTANCES TO OTHER STRUCTURES ON THE
 SITE PLAN. IF LESS THAN 6 FEET, SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS.
 EXTERIOR WALLS SEPARATED BY LESS THAN 6 FEET (1828 MM)
 SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN A ONE-HOUR FIRE-RESISTIVE
 RATING WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROJECTIONS SHALL
 NOT EXTEND TO A POINT CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1220 MM) FROM
 AN ADJACENT PROJECTION OR WALL.
  
 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R401.3 DRAINAGE.
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 PROVIDED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.
  
 4) SUBMIT ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY FBC
 CHAPTER 13.
  
 5) THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF 15'-0", SPECIFIED ON THE
 TRUSS LAYOUT IS INCORRECT. THIS IS A TWO STORY
 STRUCTURE. ALSO SPECIFY THE 2002 EDITION OF ASCE7 ON
 THE LAYOUT.
  
 6) THE DESIGN PARAMETERS ON SHEET 2 OF THE PLANS LISTS
 THE MINIMUM ROOF HEIGHT AS 23'-0". THIS APPEARS TO BE
 THE HEIGHT OF THE STRUCTURE. PLEASE SPECIFY THE MEAN
 ROOF HEIGHT ON THE PLANS (THE VERTICAL DISTANCE FROM
 GRADE PLANE TO THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST ROOF
 SURFACE.)
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.2.1 ATTACHMENT. REQUIRED
 EXTERIOR EXIT BALCONIES, STAIRS AND SIMILAR EXIT
 FACILITIES SHALL BE POSITIVELY ANCHORED TO THE PRIMARY
 STRUCTURE TO RESIST BOTH VERTICAL AND LATERAL FORCES.
 SUCH ATTACHMENT SHALL NOT BE ACCOMPLISHED BY USE OF
 TOENAILS OR NAILS SUBJECT TO WITHDRAWAL. PROVIDE A
 DETAIL SHOWING CONNECTORS.
  
 8) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R311.5.3 STAIR TREADS AND
 RISERS.

 THE MAXIMUM RISER HEIGHT SHALL BE 7-3/4" INCHES (196
 MM). THE RISER SHALL BE MEASURED VERTICALLY BETWEEN
 LEADING EDGES OF THE ADJACENT TREADS. THE GREATEST
 RISER HEIGHT WITHIN ANY FLIGHT OF STAIRS SHALL NOT
 EXCEED THE SMALLEST BY MORE THAN 3 / 8 INCH (9.5 MM).

 THE MINIMUM TREAD DEPTH SHALL BE 10 INCHES (254 MM).
 THE TREAD DEPTH SHALL BE MEASURED HORIZONTALLY BETWEEN
 THE VERTICAL PLANES OF THE FOREMOST PROJECTION OF
 ADJACENT TREADS AND AT A RIGHT ANGLE TO THE TREAD'S
 LEADING EDGE. THE GREATEST TREAD DEPTH WITHIN ANY
 FLIGHT OF STAIRS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SMALLEST BY MORE
 THAN 3 / 8 INCH (9.5 MM).
  
 9) SPECIFY THE SQUARE FOOT AREA OF THE TOTAL STRUCTURE
 AND PROVIDE A BREAKDOWN BY UNIT.
  
 10) PROVIDE A SECTION AT THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE
 WHERE THE 2ND FLOOR EXTENDS OVER THE 1ST FLOOR PORCH.
  
 11) CLARIFY HOW THE 2ND FLOOR WALL IS CONNECTED TO THE
 1ST FLOOR WALL AT THE BALCONY WALL SECTION ON SHEET 5.
  
 12) SPECIFY THE CONNECTORS FOR THE 2 X 8 JOISTS TO THE
 2 X 12 BEAM AT THE BALCONY.
  
 13) THE BALCONY SECTION ON SHEET 5 HAS COLUMN
 CONNECTORS SPECIFIED FOR 4 X 4 WOOD COLUMNS AND THE
 FOUNDATION PLAN ON SHEET4 SPECIFIES 6 X 6 WOOD COLUMNS.
 PLEASE CLARIFY.
