 ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY REGULATED BY
 THIS CODE SHALL BE PERMORMED IN A MANNER
 SO AS NOT TO ADVERSELY IMPACT THE
 CONDITION OF ADJACENT PROPERTY, UNLESS
 SUCH ACTIVITY IS PERMITTED TO AFFECT
 SAID PROPERTY PURSUANT TO A CONSENT BY
 THE APPLICABLE PROPERTY OWNER, UNDER

 BE ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO
 PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL PERMIT
 SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT
 OFFICE, AND A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT
 ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT APPLICATION.

 7)R807.1 ATTIC ACCESS .
 IN BUILDINGS WITH COMBUSTIBLE CEILING OR ROOF
 CONSTRUCTION, AN ATTIC ACCESS OPENING SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO ATTIC AREAS THAT EXCEED 30 SQUARE FEET (2.8 M 2 )
 AND HAVE A VERTICAL HEIGHT OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) OR
 GREATER.
 THE ROUGH-FRAMED OPENING SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 22
 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM BY 762 MM) AND SHALL BE
 LOCATED IN A HALLWAY OR OTHER READILY ACCESSIBLE
 LOCATION. A 30-INCH (762 MM) MINIMUM UNOBSTRUCTED
 HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED AT SOME
 POINT ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING. SEE SECTION M1305.1.3
 FOR ACCESS REQUIREMENTS WHERE MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS
 LOCATED IN ATTICS.
  
 8)R313.1 SMOKE ALARMS.
 SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN THE FOLLOWING
 LOCATIONS:
 1.IN EACH SLEEPING ROOM.
 2.OUTSIDE EACH SEPARATE SLEEPING AREA IN THE
 IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE BEDROOMS.
 3.ON EACH ADDITIONAL STORY OF THE DWELLING,
 INCLUDING BASEMENTS BUT NOT INCLUDING CRAWL SPACES AND
 UNINHABITABLE ATTICS. IN DWELLINGS OR DWELLING UNITS
 WITH SPLIT LEVELS AND WITHOUT AN INTERVENING DOOR
 BETWEEN THE ADJACENT LEVELS, A SMOKE ALARM INSTALLED ON
 THE UPPER LEVEL SHALL SUFFICE FOR THE ADJACENT LOWER
 LEVEL PROVIDED THAT THE LOWER LEVEL IS LESS THAN ONE
 FULL STORY BELOW THE UPPER LEVEL.
 WHEN MORE THAN ONE SMOKE ALARM IS REQUIRED TO BE
 INSTALLED WITHIN AN INDIVIDUAL DWELLING UNIT THE ALARM
 DEVICES SHALL BE INTERCONNECTED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT
 THE ACTUATION OF ONE ALARM WILL ACTIVATE ALL OF THE
 ALARMS IN THE INDIVIDUAL UNIT. THE ALARM SHALL BE
 CLEARLY AUDIBLE IN ALL BEDROOMS OVER BACKGROUND NOISE
 LEVELS WITH ALL INTERVENING DOORS CLOSED. ALL SMOKE
 ALARMS SHALL BE LISTED AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND THE HOUSEHOLD FIRE
 WARNING EQUIPMENT PROVISIONS OF NFPA 72.
  
 9)R802.1.6.1 TRUSS DESIGN DRAWINGS, PREPARED IN
 CONFORMANCE WITH SECTION R802.1.6.1, SHALL BE PROVIDED
 TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AND APPROVED PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION.
  
 10)R802.1.6.2 THE TRUSS DESIGN DRAWINGS SHALL BE
 PREPARED BY A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL WHERE REQUIRED BY
 THE STATUTES OF THE JURISDISTION IN WHICH THE PROJECT
 IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION R106.1
  
 11)106.1THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 PREPARED BY A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL WHERE REQUIRED BY THE
 STATUTES. WHERE SPECIAL CONDITIONS EXIST, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO REQUIRE ADDITIONAL
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS TO BE PREPARED BY A DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL.
  
 12)THE SWUARE FOOTAGE ON THE APPLICATION SHOWS A 20'
 X 12' AREA. THE DRAWINGS HAVE A 24' X 25' AREA. WHAT IS
 THE CORRECT DIMENTION?
  
 13)THE FOUNDATION DETAIL ON SHEET 1 DOES NOT SHOW THE
 COLUMN AT THE EXTERIOR DOOR. SEE SHEET 2.CLARIFY.
  
 14)SHOW AN ELEVATION OF THE AREA WHERE THE WALL WILL
 BE REMOVED, AND HOW WILL IT BE RECONSTRUCTED WITH THE
 HEADDER DETAIL .HOW IS IT THAT THIS SECTION OF THE
 EXTERIOR WALL WHICH IS SUPPORTING THE ROOF IS A NON
 BEARING WALL?
  
 15)R401.2 FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE CAPABLE
 OF ACCOMMODATING ALL LOADS ACCORDING TO SECTION R301
 AND OF TRANSMITTING THE RESULTING LOADS TO THE
 SUPPORTING SOIL . FILL SOILS THAT SUPPORT FOOTINGS AND
 FOUNDATIONS SHALL BE DESIGNED, INSTALLED AND TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED ENGINEERING PRACTICE. GRAVEL
 FILL USED AS FOOTINGS FOR WOOD AND PRECAST CONCRETE
 FOUNDATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION R403 .
  
 16)DOES THE EXISTING STRUCTURE HAVE ANY OPENINGS
 WHERE THE NEW ADDITION WILL BE CONSTRUCTED? IF SO SHOW
 THESE OPENINGS ON THE PLANS AND STATE IF THESE OPENINGS
 WILL BE CLOSED OFF.
  
 17)R401.3 DRAINAGE.
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION SO AS
 TO NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED SO AS TO
 DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE
 GRADE AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS SHALL FALL A MINIMUM
 OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048
 MM).
  
 18)WILL THERE BE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOOTINGS
 POURED AT THIS LOCATION? THE PLANS SHOWS A 20" X 18"
 MONOLITHIC FOOTING AND A 20" X 12" STEMWALL FOOTING.
 WHICH ONE WILL BE USED? SHOW HOW THE NEW SLAB WILL TIE
 INTO THE EXISTING.
  
 19)R301.2.1.2 WINDOWS IN BUILDINGS LOCATED IN
 WIND-BORNE DEBRIS REGIONS SHALL HAVE GLAZED OPENINGS
 PROTECTED FROM WIND-BORNE DEBRIS. GLAZED OPENING
 PROTECTION FOR WIND-BORNE DEBRIS SHALL MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE LARGE MISSILE TEST OF ASTM E 1996
 AND OF ASTM E1886 ETC.
