 THE TESTS INDICATED IN SECTIONS 703.4.1 AND 703.4.2
 SHALL SERVE AS CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE OF BUILDING
 MATERIALS AS SET FORTH IN SECTIONS 602.2 , 602.3 AND
 602.4 IN TYPE I, II, III AND IV CONSTRUCTION. THE TERM
 ?NONCOMBUSTIBLE ? DOES NOT APPLY TO THE FLAME SPREAD
 CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERIOR FINISH OR TRIM MATERIALS. A
 MATERIAL SHALL NOT BE CLASSIFIED AS A NONCOMBUSTIBLE
 BUILDING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL IF IT IS SUBJECT TO AN

 THE ISSUES WITH THE USE OF ALUCOBOND ON THIS PROJECT IS
 WITH THE WIND PRESSURES NOT FIRE RESISTANCY.
 THE FINAL CLADDING REPORT FROM RWDI REFRENCES FIGURE
 8,12,16 & 20 FOR THE DESIGN OF THE EYEBROW.
 IN REVIEWING THESE PRESSURES AGAIN I BELIEVE THERE IS A
 PROBLEM IN NOT MEETING THE STATED PRESSURES LISTED IN
 THE
 TEST REPORTMIAMI-DADE 00-0802.05. THE FLORIDA COVER
 SHEET BREAKS THE DESIGN PRESSURES OUT BY IF ALUCOBOND
 IS ATTACHED TO A STRUCTURE AND IF THE ALUCOBOND IS
 ATTACHED DIRECTLY TO A PLYWOOD BACKING. SEE THE
 ATTACHED DETAIL TAKEN FROM THE APPROVED PLANS WHERE
 THERE IS NO SOLID BACKING BEHIND THE ALUCOBOND PANEL
 WHICH IS TESTED TO 36PSF NOT NEARLY THE PRESSURES FOUND
 SHEET# 8 OF A RANGE FROM 70 TO 165.
  
 THE SECOND ISSUE WITH THIS SYSTEM WILLSTILL REQUIRE
 ADDITIONAL FASTENERS TO ACHIEVE THE PRESSURES FOUND AT
 THE ROOF TOP LEVELS, THE ENGINEER OF RECORD WILL NEED
 TO SUBMIT THIS INFORMATION
 NOTE ONE SET OF PRODUCT APPROVAL AND RWDI COVERSHEET
 ARE BEING RETAINED.
