 SHALL OPEN INTO ELEVATOR LOBBIES WHICH
 ARE SEPARATED FROM THE REMAINDER OF THE
 BUILDING BY 1-HOUR FIRE RESISTANT
 CONSTRUCTION WITH 20-MINUTE OPENING
 PROTECTIVES.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. ELEVATOR LOBBIES WITHIN AN ATRIUM.
 2. WHERE THERE ARE OPEN EXTERIOR
 CORRIDORS THE ENTIRE WIDTH OF THE
 BUILDING WITH STAIRS LOCATED AT EACH END
 AND THE ELEVATORS ARE LOCATED ON THE
 EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING.
 3.THE MAIN ENTRANCE LEVEL OF THE
 BUILDING.
  
 412.6.2 OPENINGS IN THE ELEVATOR LOBBY
 SHALL BE LIMITED TO THOSE REQUIRED FOR
 ACCESS TO THE ELEVATORS AND FOR EGRESS
 FROM THE BUILDING. ALL ROOMS AND
 ENCLOSURES SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE
 REQUIRED EXIT ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT TRAVEL
 THROUGH THE ELEVATOR LOBBY.OPENINGS
 MAY BE PROVIDED WITH HORIZONTAL SLIDING
 DOORS CONFORMING TO 1012.4.EXIT
 STAIRWAYS, CHUTES, JANITOR CLOSETS,
 GUEST ROOMS, SERVICE ROOMS, ETC., SHALL
 NOT OPEN INTO THE ELEVATOR LOBBY.
  
 412.6.3 EACH ELEVATOR LOBBY SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH AN APPROVED SMOKE
 DETECTOR LOCATED ON THE LOBBY CEILING.
 WHEN THE DETECTOR IS ACTIVATED,
 ELEVATOR DOORS SHALL NOT OPEN AND ALL
 CARS SERVING THAT LOBBY ARE TO RETURN TO
 THE MAIN FLOOR AND BE UNDER MANUAL
 CONTROL ONLY.IF THE MAIN FLOOR
 DETECTOR OR A TRANSFER FLOOR DETECTOR IS
 ACTIVATED, ALL CARS SERVING THE MAIN
 FLOOR OR TRANSFER FLOOR SHALL RETURN TO
 A LOCATION APPROVED BY THE FIRE
 DEPARTMENT AND BUILDING OFFICIAL AND BE
 UNDER MANUAL CONTROL ONLY.THE DETECTOR
 MAY SERVE TO CLOSE THE LOBBY DOORS.
  
 THESE COMMENTS ABOVE DEAL WITH COMMENTS
 3,4 & 8FROM THE PREVIOUS REVIEW.
 412.6.2 ACTUALLY DEALS WITH (2) ISSUES
 THE FIRST STATING THAT ALL ROOMS SHALL
 HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEANS OF EGRESS TO A
 EXIT WITHOUT HAVING TO TRAVEL THROUGH A
 ELEVATOR LOBBY. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS
 TO FEASIBLITY TO COMPLY. THERE ARE THREE
 EXCEPTIONS LISTED ABOVE WHICH ARE NOT
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THIS SECTION.
  
 THE SECOND ISSUE WITH 412.6.3 DEALS
 WITH WHICH OPENINGS ARE ACCEPTIBLE TO BE
 IN A ELEVATOR LOBBY AND WHICH AREN'T.
 EXIT STAIRWAYS, CHUTES, JANITOR CLOSETS,
 GUEST ROOMS, SERVICE ROOMS, ETC., SHALL
 NOT OPEN INTO THE ELEVATOR LOBBY.

 DOORS THAT DO NOT MEET THE MANEUVERING
 CLEARENCES AT DOORS ARE:
 A824- AUTO CLOSER, ROOMS 812, 813 & 814.
  
 11-4.13.6 MANEUVERING CLEARENCES
 AT DOORS. MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARENCES
 AT DOORS THAT ARE NOT AUTOMATIC OR
 POWER-ASSISTED SHALL BE AS SHOWN IN
 FIG. 25. THE FLOOR OR GROUND AREA WITH
 IN THE REQUIRED CLEARENCES SHALL BE
 CLEAR & LEVEL.
  
 THE CODE IS VERY CLEAR WHERE THERE IS
 EXISTING ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES, THE
 TENANT IN THIS CASE HAS A DUTY TO
 CORRECT THE EXISTING VIOLATIONS TO THE
 EXTENT OF 20% OF THE CONTRACT VALUE.

 ADDITIONAL FUNDS ARE TO BE DISPERSED.
  
 11-4.1.6(2)(A)(III) DEALS WITH RESTROOMS
 THAT WOULD NEED TO BE UPGRADED.BELOW IS
 THE ACTUAL COST BREAK OUT TO INDICATE
 HOW THE 20% IS TO BE SPENT.
  
 11-4.1.6(2) DUTY TO PROVIDE AN
 ACCESSIBLE PATH OF TRAVEL TO ALTERED
 AREAS SHALL BE DEEMED DISPROPORTIONATE
 TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN THE COST
