 THIS COMMENT WAS#3 FROM FIRST
 REVIEW. THIS IS FOR ALL ACCESSIBLE ROOMS
 AND SPACES. THE FL ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 STATES THAT THE FLOORS ARE TO BE A
 STABLE, FIRM, SLIP RESISTANT. THIS DOES
 LEAVE ROOM TO INTERPETATION, HOWEVER
 ADDAAG 4.5.1 (GUIDELINE) DOES GIVE THE
 RANGE OF WHAT IS ACCEPTED, WE PUT THIS
 IN AS PART OF A PLAN REVIEW TO COVER
 SAFETY ISSUES. VARIOUS FLOORING MATER-
 IALS DO HAVE DIFFERENT DEGREES OF SLIP
 RESISTANCE. IT HELPS TO PROTECT ALL IN-
 VOLVED, DESIGN PROFESSIOALS, CONTRACTORS
 AS WELL AS THE END USERS (LAWSUITS).
  
 2) MEZZANINE VS OCCUPANCY SEPERATION,
 704.1.2.2(4) DOES ALLOW FOR STORAGE FOR
 NONHAZARDOUS MATERIALS FOR GROUP E OCCU-
 PANCY WHEN THE AGGREGATE AREA DOES NOT
 EXCEED 1/3 THE MAJOR OCCUPANCY.
 THE SECOND ISSUE IS STORAGE OCCUPANCY
 FOR THE MEZZANINE. SECTION 1027
 DEALS WITH STORAGE SINGLE MEANS OF
 EGRESS.THE CODE DOES ALLOW FOR STORAGE
 MAXIMUM ONE STORY, FLOOR AREA NOT EXCEED
 ING 2500 SQ FT, THIS PROJECT MEETS THESE
 (2) CRITERIA. THE THIRD IS TRAVEL DIS-
 TANCE NOT TO EXCEED 50 FT.
 FURTHEST POINT IS APPROX 76 FT.
 THE THIRD ISSUE IS AN ENCLOSED MEZZA-
 NINE, ENCLOSED MEANS THE AREA UNDER THE
 MEZZANINE.
 WHEN THE AREA WITHIN THE MEZZANINE IS
 ENCLOSED, IT CONSTITUTES A 2ND STORY.
 WHEN DISSCUSSING THE ISSUES ABOVE WITH
 THE ASSISTANT BUILD OFF WILLIAM STAPLES
 & BUILD OFFICIAL NEIL MELICK THE ONLY
 WAY AROUND THIS IS TO ADD A 2ND STAIRWAY
 EITHER INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR. THE SECOND
 ISSUE IS THIS SPACE WOULD HAVE EXTERIOR
 ENTRY WHICH COULD BE SUBLET. THIS WOULD
 REQUIRE A 2 HR RATING IF OTHER OCCUPAN-
 CIES WERE TO OCCUPY THIS SPACE.
 IF THIS SPACE IS USED FOR ANY REASON
 OTHER THAN STORAGE VERTICAL ACCESSIBIL-
 ITY SHALL BE ADDRESSED.
 A DECISION NEEDS TO BE MADE, IF THE
 SCHOOL IS TO USE THIS SPACE THE BUILD
 OFFICIAL WILL PROVISO THIS ISSUE, AGREE-
 ING THAT A SECOND STAIR WILL BE PROVIDED
 BEFORE C.O.
  
 3) EXTERIOR DOOR# 42 UNDER EXTERIOR
 STAIRWAY REQUIRES 1 HR RATING. SEE ATACH
 MENT. LIFE SAFETY CODE 3 STORIESAND MORE
 1 1/2 HR.
  
 4) FRONT ENTRY DOORS AND SIDELIGHTS,
 MISSING PRODUCT APPROVAL REPORTS. SUBMIT
 EITHER SBCCI OR DADE COUNTY PRODUCT
 TESTING REPORTS.PLANS CALL OUT FOR NEW
 DOORS AND SIDELIGHTS. PLANS INDICATE
 TRANSOMS, IF PRODUCT TESTING REPORT WAS
 NOT TESTED THIS WAY, A SEPERATE REPORT
 FOR TRANSOMS SHALL BE REQUIRED. A REPORT
 WOULD ALSO BE REQUIRED FOR HORIZONTAL
 MULLIONS.
  
 5) SITE SPECIFIC ENGINEERING IS FOR
 GLAZED OPENINGS THAT HAVE NOT RECEIVED
 PRODUCT TESTING FROM A NATIONALLY
 RECOGNIZED AGENCY. THIS ALLOWS VENDORS
 TO USE PRODUCTS YET NOT TESTED. THE
 ENGINEER FOR THE MANUFACTURER SEALS A
 SITE SPECIFIC FORM, THE ARCHETECT OF
 RECORD SEALS AN AFFIDAVIT THAT THIS
 PRODUCT SHALL MEET THE WIND LOADS
 IMPOSED IN THIS STRUCTURE. THIS IS NOT
 SHOP DRAWINGS. SHOP DRAWINGS SHOULD BE
 REVIEWED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD, FOR
 HIS APPROVAL, AS IS OR RED LINED APPROV-
 ED WITH CORRECTIONS OR DENIED.
  
 6) THE ISSUE OF EXISTING STORM PANELS,
 IF USING THE EXISSTING SHUTTER SYSTEM
 THAT WILL BE FINE.
  
 BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT CAN BE
 ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH CO.,THE PERMIT PLANS STAMPED BY
 THEM AND THE RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION.
  
 LOOK FOR COMMENTS BY THE OTHER PLAN
 REVIEW DISCIPLINES THAT MAY BE WRITTEN
 ON THE APPLICATION, PLANS, OR ATTACHED
 SEPARATELY. WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS
 PLEASE CLEARLY INDICATE THE REVISION AND
 REMOVE AND REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESS-
 ARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A
 DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE, IDEN-
 TIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE
 WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND, WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU
