 1)IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY, PLANS STAMPED BY THEM AND
 COPY OF RECEIPT SUBMITTED TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT,
 BEFORE A BUILDING PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF
 COMMENCEMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 3) THE 2001 FBC SECTION 1606.1.7
 REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO BE
 SHOWN ON THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS:
 - BASIC WIND SPEED, MPH.
 - WIND IMPORTANCE FACTOR(1) AND BUILDING
 CATEGORY.
 - WIND EXPOSURE- IF MORE THAN ONE WIND
 EXPOSURE IS USED THE WIND EXPOSURE AND
 APPLICABLE WIND DIRECTION SHALL BE
 INDICATED.
 - THE APPLICABLE INTERNAL PRESSURE
 COEFFICIENT
 - COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THE DESIGN
 WIND PRESSURES IN TERMS OF PSF, TO BE
 USED FOR THE DESIGN OF EXTERIOR
 COMPONENT AND CLADDING MATERIALS NOT
 SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED BY THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.
  
 4) INDICATE THE NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE
 PRESSURES FOR EXTERIOR WINDOW AND DOOR
 OPENINGS ON THE PLANS.
  
 5) PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND
 EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS (MANUAL J)
 AS REQUIRED BY THE 1997 FLORIDA ENERGY
 EFFICIENCY CODE FOR BUILDING
 CONSTRUCTION.
  
 6)PROVIDE (2) CURRENT AND COMPLETE
 COPIES OF SBCCI OR METRO-DADE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR:
 - EXTERIOR DOORS
 - AWNING WINDOWS
 - GLASS BLOCK
  
 7) PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR ROOFING
 MATERIALS UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT.
  
 8) PROVIDE EMERGENCY EGRESS WINDOW IN
 SLEEPING ROOMS WITH A MINIMUM NET CLEAR
 OPENING HEIGHT OF 24INCHES,NET CLEAR
 OPENING WIDTH OF 20 INCHES AND NET CLEAR
 OPENING AREA OF 5.7 SQ.FT. GROUND FLOOR
 OPENINGS ARE PERMITTED TO HAVE A NET
 CLEAR OPENING OF 5.0 SQ.FT. SILL HEIGHT
 SHALL NOT BE MORE THAN 44 INCHES ABOVE
 THE FLOOR. 2001 FBC 1005.4
  
 9) PLEASE REVIEW PLACEMENT OF VERTICAL
 REINFORCEMENT.
  
 10) THE PLANS SUBMITTED INDICATE AN
 EXISTING CARPORT WITH EXISTING COLUMNS.
 HOWEVEVER, IT IS NOT SPECIFIED THAT THE
 COLUMNS ARE CONCRETE OR IF THEIR IS AN
 EXISTING CONCRETE TIE BEAM OR WOOD
 GIRDERS SUPPORTING THE EXISTING ROOF
 SYSTEM. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 11) PLEASE REVIEW THE SPACING OF THE
 VERTICAL REINFORCEMENT IN THE NEW BLOCK
 WALLS. THERE ARE NONE AT EACH SIDE OF
 THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS FOR BUCK
 ATTACHMENT. PLEASE INDICATE THE SPACING
 BETWEEN THE VERTICAL REINFORCEMENTS ON
 THE PLANS.
  
 12) PROVIDE FASTENING DETAILS FOR DOOR
 AND WINDOW BUCKS.
  
 13)PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 INDICATING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
 EXISTING COVERED PORCH. INDICATE HOW THE
 CONTINOUS LOAD PATH FROM FOUNDATION TO
 THE ROOF IS ACHIEVED.
  
 14) PROVIDE A ROOF FRAMING LAYOUT PLAN
 FOR THE AREA THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN EXIST
 ING ROOF.
  
 15) PROVIDE ELEVATION DIMENSIONS ON THE
 PLANS INDICATING BEAM HEIGHTS, CEILING
 HEIGHTS, FLOOR ELEVATION ABOVE GRADE,
 ETC.
  
 16) INDICATE ON PLANS THAT SOIL IS TO BE
 TREATED FOR TERMITES.
  
 17)PROVIDE (2) PRODUCT APPROVALS, KEY
 PLANS AND INSTALLATION SCHEDULES
 INDICATING THE SPECIFIC TYPES OF ANCHORS
 TO BE USED FOR STORM PANELS. MISSLE
 IMPACT PROTECTION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL
 NEW EXTERIOR GLAZED OPENINGS.
  
 18) INDICATE THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE
 PRESSURES AT ALL EXTERIOR OPENINGS ON
 THE PLANS.
  
 19) THE ENCLOSED AREA AND ADDITION CAN
 NOT PREVENT THE REQUIRED EMERGENCY
 EGRESS TO THE EXTERIOR FROM A ROOM USED
 FOR SLEEPING OR ENCLOSE A BATHROOM
 WINDOW WHEN IT IS REQUIRED FOR
 VENTILATION.
