 STRUCTURAL PLAN REVIEW:
 THE ISSUES THAT WERE IN CONFLICT WITH
 THE CODE HAVE ALL BEEN ADDRESSED ACCEPT
 FOR THE FIRST ISSUE, THE OCCUPANT LOAD.
 AS A RULE OF THUMB WHEN THERE IS A
 DIFFERENCE IN CODE INTERPRETATION,
 WE TAKE THE ISSUE TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL FOR A FINAL INTERPRETATION.THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL AGREES THAT THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD FOR THE 991 SQ. FT. @ 15FT
 PER PERSON YIELDS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF
 66 PEOPLE.
 1)- SBC 1004.1.2: EVERY ROOM OR TENANT
 SPACE WHICH HAS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50
 OR MORE PERSONS SHALL NOT HAVE LESS THAN
 (2) TWO EGRESS DOORS.
 2)-SBC 1004.1.4: WHERE TWO OR MORE EXITS
 OR EXIT ACCESS DOORS ARE REQUIRED, AT
 LEAST TWO OF THE EXIT DOORS OR EXIT
 ACCESS DOORS SHALL BE PLACED A DISTANCE
 APART EQUAL TO NOT LESS THAN ONE HALF
 OF THE LENGTH OF THE MAXIMUM OVERALL
 DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR
 AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A STRAIGHT
 LINE BETWEEN SUCH EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS
 DOORS.
  
 THE SECOND ISSUE THAT THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL BROUGHT UP IS FLOOR LOADING.
 WHEN THIS BUILDING WAS C.O.,EDTHIS
 AREA WAS TO BE USED FOR LIGHT STORAGE OF
 PROPS. THERE IS A NEED TO DO A FLOOR
 ANALYSIS TO SEE IF THE EXISTING FLOOR
 JOIST WILL MEET THE FLOOR LOADING OF
 100 PSF LIVE LOAD AS PER SBC TABLE
 1604.1 FOR THEATERS: AISLES, CORRIDORS
 AND LOBBIES.
