 PORTION THEREOF AND ONE SHRUB IS REQUIRED FOR EACH 500
 SQ FT OF OPEN SPACE OR PORTION THEREOF.
 OPEN SPACE IS DETERMINED BY SUBTRACTING THE BUILDING
 FOOTPRINT FROM THE GROSS LOT SQ FOOTAGE (ALL
 NON-BUILDING AREA). PLEASE SHOW THE CALCULATION OF
 TOTAL LOT SPACE MINUS THE BUILDING FOOTPRINT EQUALING
 THE
 OPEN SPACE.
  
 2) PER SEC 94-445(4) SHADE/FLOWERING TREES MUST HAVE A
 MINIMUM HEIGHT OF 12 FT. PALMS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM
 HEIGHT OF 8 FT OF CLEAR WOOD AND THE MINIMUM SIZE FOR
 SHRUBS IS 3 GALLONS. ALL MATERIAL MUST BE FLORIDA GRADE
 1 OR BETTER. PLEASE PROVIDE THE SPECIES OF THE PALMS
 AND TREES ON THE LOT AND THE OVERALL HEIGHT FOR THE
 TREES AND THE CLEAR TRUNK HEIGHT FOR THE PALMS. PROVIDE
 SPECIES AND SIZE OF SHRUBS AS WELL. PLEASE PROVIDE
 PLANTING SPECS THAT COINCIDE WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 3) PER SEC 94-442 (D)PALMS MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT
 MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF SHADE/FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED.
 HOWEVER, WHEN PALM TREES ARE SUBSTITUTED FOR
 SHADE/FLOWERING TREES, THREE PALMS SHE BE PROVIDED FOR
 EACH REQUIRED SHADE/FLOWERING TREE. THIS 3:1 RATION
 SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING PALMS: ROYAL
 PALM, SENEGAL DATE PALM, MEDJOOL DATE PALM, BISMARCK
 PALM, AND SILVER DATE PALM.
  
 4) PER SEC 94-442(G) LANDSCAPE PLAN MUST SATISFY A
 MINIMUM TOTAL OF 25 POINTS FROM THE DESIGN OPTIONS
 CHART. PLEASE SHOW WHAT ITEMS FROM THE PROPOSED
 LANDSCAPE PLAN ARE MET ON THE CHART.
