 CATEGORY 3 AND REQUIRE 100 SQ FT CANOPY MITIGATION
 EACH. LIVE OAK IS CATEGORY 1 AND REQUIRES 300 SQ FT

 94-443(C)(3) FOR TERMINAL AND INTERIOR ISLANDS.
  
 THE APPLICANT INDICATED THAT THE PARKING LOT WAS TO
 REMAIN AS IS AND BE RESTRIPED AND MODIFIED. REMOVING
 THE PARKING AREA PER THE SUBMITTED DEMOLITION PLAN AND
 REBUILDING IT TRIGGERS COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT CODE
 REQUIREMENTS. IF THE REQUIREMENT CANNOT BE MET A
 VARIANCE IS REQUIRED. A PAVING PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN
 SUBMITTED SO STAFF CANNOT VERIFY THE EXTENT OF THE
 MODIFICATION. IF THE PAVED AREA IS TO REMAIN, LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS WITH SMALLER TREES COULD BE ADDED TO REDUCE THE
 NONCONFORMITY.
