 REQUIRED. SEC. 242.2 FBC ACC STATES:
 AT LEAST TWO ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF ENTRY SHALL BE
 PROVIDED FOR SWIMMING POOLS. ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF ENTRY
 SHALL BE SWIMMING POOL LIFTS COMPLYING WITH 1009.2;
 SLOPED ENTRIES COMPLYING WITH 1009.3; TRANSFER WALLS

 THAT THE ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF ENTRY IS A SWIMMING POOL

 IMPORTANT NOTE: IF THE BUILDING WAS DESIGNED IN

 MEN'S RESTROOM. IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REVIEW THE
 EXCEPTION UNDER SEC. 403.6- WHERE A SWIMMING POOL
 SERVES ONLY A DESIGNATED GROUP OF RESIDENTIAL DWELLING
 UNITS INCLUDING HOTEL ROOMS AND NOT THE GENERAL PUBLIC,
 POOLSIDE SANITARY FACILITIES ARE NOT REQUIRED IF ALL
 LIVING UNITS ARE WITHIN A 200-FOOT HORIZONTAL RADIUS OF
 THE NEAREST WATER'S EDGE, ARE NOT OVER THREE STORIES IN
 HEIGHT UNLESS SERVICED BY AN ELEVATOR, AND ARE EACH
 EQUIPPED WITH PRIVATE SANITARY FACILITIES. PLEASE
 CLARIFY IF THIS EXCEPTION IS BEING CLAIMED.
  
 3) SHEETS P1.1. & P2.3: WASTEWATER FROM THE POOL AND
 THE COLLECTOR TANK SHALL BE DECHLORINATED AND
 DISCHARGED THROUGH AN AIR GAP IN THE INTO THE STORM

 CODE OF ORDINANCES. THE WASTEWATER SHALL NOT DISCHARGE
 INTO THE SANITARY SYSTEM AS INDICATED IN NOTE #10.

 WATER DISPOSAL. THE ENGINEER OF RECORD SHALL SHOW THE
 DECHLORINATION SYSTEM ON THE PLAN AND PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL EQUIPMENT. PLEASE SEE GUIDELINES
 BELOW-
 SWIMMING POOL WATER MAY BE DISCHARGED TO THE CITY
 STORMWATER SEWER ONLY IF THE WATER IS DECHLORINATED
 ACCORDING TO SECTION 90-205(1) OF THE CITY OF WEST PALM
 BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES. SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECIFICATION FOR THE DICHLORINATION SYSTEM FOR REVIEW

 A) THE RECEIVING INLET MUST BE PROTECTED (FILTER CLOTH
 TO KEEP EXCESS SEDIMENTS FROM ROADWAY WASHING INTO THE
 INLET).
 B) NO DISCHARGE HOSE CAN BE DIRECTLY INSERTED INTO THE
 INLET TO DISCHARGE EFFLUENT.
 C) WHENEVER POSSIBLE, DISCHARGE EFFLUENT SHALL BE
 ALLOWED TO FILTER THROUGH GRASS AREA ON THE POOL
 OWNER'S PROPERTY BEFORE DISCHARGING ON CITY PROPERTY.
 D) DISCHARGE SHALL NOT FLOOD STREETS OR NEIGHBORING
 PROPERTY.
