 1) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT ALL CONDUIT, CROSSOVERS, WIRING, JUNCTION BOXES,
 ETC. NECESSARY FOR THE SIGN'S ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO
 BE CONCEALED AND NOT VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. THE
 RESUBMITTED DRAWINGS REMOVED THE JUNCTION BOX FROM THE
 PLANS; HOWEVER, NO CLARIFICATION WAS PROVIDED HOW THE
 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ARE CONCEALED. THE NOTE THAT THE
 GC IS PROVIDING THE PRIMARY SOURCE INSIDE THE EXISTING
 ARCHWAY IS NOT SUFFICIENT. YOU MUST VERIFY HOW THIS IS
 CONCEALED (FOR EXAMPLE IF THERE IS AN AREA ABOVE THE
 ARCADE CEILING WERE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ARE
 LOCATED).

 ARCADE IDENTIFY SIGN
  
 1) PROVIDE AN ELEVATION DRAWING OF THE STOREFRONT
 SHOWING WHERE THE SIGN WILL BE LOCATED. THE DRAWING
 ALSO NEEDS TO PROVIDE THE LENGTH OF THE STOREFRONT SO
 STAFF CAN CONFIRM THE PERMITTED SIGN SQUARE FOOTAGE AND
 THAT IT DOES NOT EXCEED 50% OF THE STOREFRONT FRONTAGE.
 ADDITIONALLY, SINCE THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA STOREFRONT TYPE 2 REQUIRES THAT THE ARCADE
 IDENTITY SIGN IS CENTERED ON THE FACADE IN FRONT OF THE
 TENANT?S ENTRY, THE DRAWING NEEDS TO VERIFY THIS
 REQUIREMENT.
  
 2) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT ARCADE IDENTITY SIGNS BE CENTERED WITHIN THE
 ARCADE ARCHWAY. PROVIDE DIMENSIONS TO VERIFY THIS
 REQUIREMENT.
  
 3) THE ENGINEERING PLAN STATES THAT THE SIGN IS A
 CABINET SIGN, WHICH IS NOT A PERMITTED ARCADE IDENTITY
 SIGN TYPE. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA
 ESTABLISH FOUR OPTIONS FOR ARCADE IDENTITY SIGNS:
 A. SUSPENDED RACEWAYS WITH LETTERS MOUNTED TO THE
 RACEWAY
 B. INDIVIDUAL SUSPENDED LETTERS
 C. LETTERING MOUNTED TO THE FACE OF A SUSPENDED PANEL
 D. LETTERS MOUNTED TO VERTICAL SUPPORTED RACEWAYS
  
 4) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT ALL CONDUIT, CROSSOVERS, WIRING, JUNCTION BOXES,
 ETC. NECESSARY FOR THE SIGN?S ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO
 BE CONCEALED AND NOT VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. THE
 DRAWINGS INDICATE THAT THE JUNCTION BOX AND THE WIRING
 FROM THE SIGN TO THE JUNCTION BOX AND THE JUNCTION BOX
 TO THE POWER SUPPLY WILL BE MOUNTED TO THE WALL ABOVE
 THE ARCADE, AND THUS THEY WILL BE VISIBLE TO THE
 PUBLIC, WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED.
  
 5) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT RIVETS, SCREWS AND OTHER FASTENERS THAT EXTEND TO
 VISIBLE SURFACES SHALL BE FLUSH, FILLED AND FINISHED SO
 AS TO BE UNNOTICEABLE. THE BOLT HEADS THAT EXTEND PAST
 THE MOUNTING PLATE DO NOT MEET THIS STANDARD. IF THE
 BOLT HEADS MUST EXTEND PAST THE MOUNTING PLATE, THEY
 NEED TO BE CONCEALED BY CAPS MATCHING THE COLOR OF THE
 MOUNTING PLATE. THE PAN HEAD SCREWS THAT ARE USED ON
 THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE LETTER DO NOT COMPLY WITH
 THIS REQUIREMENT.
