 1) THE PERMIT REQUEST IS FOR A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION
 PARKING FENCE.
  
 A. NO PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY HAS BEEN ISSUED
 FOR THE SITE. A DEMOLITION PERMIT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED,
 BUT NOT ISSUED, BUT IT IS UNCLEAR WHAT THE LIMITS OF
 WORK ON THE DEMOLITION PERMIT ARE, SO STAFF WILL NOT BE
 APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION FENCE FOR PARKING THAT
 OVERLAPS THE DEMOLITION AREA.
  
 B. THE CONSTRUCTION FENCE DOES NOT ENCOMPASS THE
 NORTHERN PARKING AREA, WHICH IF NOT BEING DEMOLISHED
 (SEE COMMENT1 A) IS WHERE THE DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR
 EMPLOYEES CAN PARK DURING THE DEMOLITION.
  
 2) STAFF HAS BEEN INFORMED THAT THE CONSTRUCTION
 PARKING ON THIS SITE WOULD BE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
 BUILDING NOT LOCATED ON THIS SITE.
  
 A. OFF SITE CONSTRUCTION PARKING IS NOT PERMITTED
 UNLESS IT IS ON A PARKING LOT THAT MEETS ALL CITY
 PARKING CODE STANDARDS. IF THE EXISTING ASPHALT PARKING
 LOT IS REMOVED FROM THE SITE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE
 FENCE THAT IS SHOWN, THEN NONE OF THE AREA COMPLIES
 WITH THE CITY'S PARKING STANDARDS.
  
 B. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCES MAY ONLY BE ERECTED 10
 DAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF PERMITTED WORK ON THE SITE
 AND MUST BE REMOVED ONCE THE PERMITTED WORK IS
 COMPLETED. THE CONSTRUCTION FENCE WOULD BE TIED TO THE
 NOT YET ISSUED DEMOLITION PERMIT AND WOULD NOT BE TIED
 TO THE DATES OF AN OFF SITE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
