 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. BLACK OLIVE TREES #6 AND #7 WERE PREVIOUSLY
 DISCUSSED WITH STAFF AND THE APPLICANT WAS ADVISED THAT
 THEY DO NOT QUALIFY FOR REMOVAL. REVISE THE TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN AND LANDSCAPE PLAN TO SHOW THE TREES
 AS REMAINING.
  
 2. PROVIDE THE TREE CANOPY MITIGATION CALCULATION FOR
 TREE #1 AS 491 SQ FT BASED ON DIAMETER. SHOW ADDED
 TREES CANOPY CREDIT FOR MITIGATION BASED ON CATEGORY.
  
 3. CORRECT THE CALCULATIONS FOR REQUIRED MINIMUM SHADE
 TREE AND FLOWERING TREE REQUIREMENTS PER SECTION
 94-443(C)(2)B. BASED ON REQUIRED OPEN SPACE OF 40%.
 11,159 SQ FT REQUIRES 8 SHADE TREES AND 2 FLOWERING
 TREES AND 23 SHRUBS.
  
 4. THE TERMINAL ISLAND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE
 PARKING LOT REQUIRES A TREE AT THE END OF EACH ROW OF
 PARKING. OTHER EXISTING NON-CONFORMING ISLANDS CAN HAVE
 EQUIVALENT 3 PALMS ADDED TO REDUCE THE NON-CONFORMITY.
 ADD THE TREES AND PALMS AS REQUIRED BY SECTION
 94-443(C)(3)A. FOR TERMINAL AND INTERIOR ISLANDS.
  
 5. PROVIDE A PLAN SHOWING THE PARKING LANDSCAPE AREAS
 COUNTED TOWARD COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-443(C)(3) AND
 (4) AND PROVIDE CALCULATIONS. PROVIDE THE TOTAL
 REQUIRED AND PROVIDED AS ONE TOTAL FOR BOTH SECTIONS.
 6. MAKE CORRECTIONS TO LABELING OF EACH BUFFER LENGTH
 NORTH, EAST AND WEST, AND ADD THE SOUTH BUFFER
 MEASUREMENT AND REQUIRED AND PROVIDED TREES.
  
 7. PROVIDE A PLANT LIST SHOWING ALL ADDED PLANT
 MATERIAL WITH SPECIES, REQUIRED SIZES, WITH COLUMNS
 ADDED FOR NATIVE AND DROUGHT TOLERANCE. SHOW EXISTING
 TREES TO REMAIN ON THE PLANT LIST. THIS MAY BE A CAD
 ISSUE.
  
 8. UPDATE THE DESIGN OPTIONS CHART FOR FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS PER SECTION 94-442(G) BASED ON
 THE PLANT LIST AND PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 50 POINTS.
 NON-CYPRESS MULCH IS REQUIRED, SO 5 POINTS CAN BE
 ADDED.
  
 9. ADD A SECTION IN THE LANDSCAPE DATA CHART TO COMPLY
 WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60
 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE
 OR DROUGHT TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST
 OR THE LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF
 SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
