 1. THE PERMIT TYPE HAS CHANGED FROM INTERIOR DEMO TO A
 RESIDENTIAL REMODEL PERMIT.
  
 PAGE A101 SUBMITTED SHOULD REFLECT THE CHANGES TO
 INCLUDE WINDOWS AND DOORS AND NOT BE LABELED AS ONLY
 INTERIOR DEMO.
  
 FBC 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN
 UPON SUITABLE MATERIAL. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE
 AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT
 IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 2. PLANS HAVE HAND DRAWN CHANGES.
  
 FBC 107.2.1.4 QUALITY OF BUILDING PLANS. BUILDING PLANS
 SHALL BE DRAWN TO A MINIMUM 1/8 INCH SCALE UPON
 SUBSTANTIAL PAPER, CLOTH OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE MEDIUM.
 THIS POLICY MAY INCLUDE SUCH THINGS AS MINIMUM SIZE,
 SHAPE, CONTRAST, CLARITY, OR OTHER ITEMS RELATED TO
 RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
  
 3. A PARTIAL SECTION OF A WINDOW SCHEDULE WAS PROVIDED
 . SINCE THIS WAS ONLY A PARTIAL PAGE THE PRESSURES AT
 THE WINDOW/DOOR LOCATIONS WERE MISSING. INCLUDE A
 WINDOW/DOOR SCHEDULE AND INCLUDE THE WINDOW/DOOR NOA
 NUMBER ON THE SCHEDULE.
  
 FBC 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
  
 4. THE PERMIT VALUATION IS VERY LOW.
  
 FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATIONS.
  
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS
 TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT
 SHALL BE DENIED, UNLESS THE APPLICANT CAN SHOW
 DETAILED, QUANTITY ESTIMATES, AND/OR BONA FIDE SIGNED
 CONTRACTS (EXCLUDING LAND VALUE) TO MEET THE APPROVAL
 OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL, ELECTRIC,
 PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH, RELATIVE SITE
 WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING COSTS,
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS.
 5. NOTARIZED SIGNATURES REQUIRED FOR OWNER AND
 CONTRACTOR ON THE PERMIT APPLICATION. THE PROJECT IS
 MORE THAN $2500.
  
 6. A NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO
 INSPECTIONS.

 DEMOLITION PERMIT DENIED:
  
 THIS IS NOT AN INTERIOR DEMO PERMIT AS THE APPLICATION
 SHOWS. THE PLANS SHOW REMOVAL OF EXTERIOR DOORS AND
 WINDOWS. THIS CREATES A BREACH OF THE BUILDING
 ENVELOPE.
 HERE ARE A FEW OPTIONS:
  
 A) REMOVE THE EXTERIOR DOORS AND WINDOW DEMO FROM THE
 PLANS.
  
 B) SUBMIT A PERMIT FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS.
  
 C) SUBMIT AN ENGINEERED DETAIL THAT INCLUDES A METHOD
 OF SECURING THE OPENINGS AND INCLUDE A DRY IN DETAIL AS
 WELL.
  
 D) REVOKE THIS PERMIT AND INCLUDE THIS WORK AS PART OF
 YOUR BUILDING PERMIT.
  
 R301.2.1 WIND DESIGN CRITERIA.
 BUILDINGS AND PORTIONS THEREOF SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE WIND PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE USING
 THE BASIC WIND SPEED IN TABLE R301.2(1) AS DETERMINED
 FROM FIGURE R301.2(4). THE STRUCTURAL PROVISIONS OF
 THIS CODE FOR WIND LOADS ARE NOT PERMITTED WHERE WIND
 DESIGN IS REQUIRED AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION R301.2.1.1.
 WHERE DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND STRUCTURAL
 MATERIALS ARE USED FOR VARIOUS PORTIONS OF A BUILDING,
 THE APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION FOR EACH
 PORTION SHALL APPLY. WHERE NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, THE
 WIND LOADS LISTED IN TABLE R301.2(2) ADJUSTED FOR
 HEIGHT AND EXPOSURE USING TABLE R301.2(3) SHALL BE USED
 TO DETERMINE DESIGN LOAD PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR
