 1) THE SURVEY PROVIDED WITH THE RESUBMITTAL SHOWS THAT
 THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT IS SET BACK 7.2 FEET FROM THE
 WEST PROPERTY LINE. SINCE THE PALM BEACH DAY ACADEMY
 CSPD REQUIRES A 20 FOOT REAR SETBACK AT THE PITT
 BUILDING, THE NEW PLAY EQUIPMENT MAY BE NO CLOSER THAN
 THE EXISTING 7.2 FEET FROM THE WEST PROPERTY LINE. THE
 SETBACK FOR THE CLOSEST POINT OF THE PROPOSED EQUIPMENT
 TO THE WEST PROPERTY LINE MUST BE SHOWN ON THE
 EQUIPMENT SITE PLAN (SHEET P-2).
  
 2) PLEASE BE CLEAR AS TO WHAT IS BEING PERMITTED WITH
 THIS APPLICATION. THE ORIGINAL PERMIT APPLICATION IS
 FOR THE PLAYGROUND STRUCTURE AND PIP RUBBER SAFETY MAT
 OVER CONCRETE. THE RESUBMITTAL FORM CALLS OUT JUST
 "REMOVE EXISTING PLAYGROUND". THE CONTRACTOR VERBALLY
 SAID IT IS JUST A REPLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT
 WITH NO WORK ON THE PLAYGROUND SURFACE. PLEASE NOTE
 THAT THERE CAN BE NO EXPANSION OR REPLACEMENT OF THE
 EXISTING CONCRETE PAD OR THE PAD NEEDS TO BE CUT BACK
 AND THE FIVE (5) FOOT WIDE LANDSCAPE BUFFER WILL NEED
 TO BE INSTALLED AS THIS WILL CONSTITUTE A NEW
 PLAYGROUND AND NOT AN EQUIPMENT REPAIR/REPLACEMENT.

 1) PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF A CURRENT SURVEY SHOWING THE
 EXISTING CONDITIONS, TO INCLUDE ANY STRUCTURES,
 EASEMENTS AND EXISTING LANDSCAPE, WITHIN THE AREA OF
 WORK.
  
 2) THE PALM BEACH DAY ACADEMY CSPD REQUIRES THAT THERE
 IS A 20 FOOT REAR SETBACK AT THE PITT BUILDING. THE
 PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AS SHOWN FALLS WITHIN THIS
 SETBACK. THE SURVEY, REQUIRED BY COMMENT NO. 1, WILL
 VERIFY THE SETBACK OF THE EXISTING PLAYGROUND
 EQUIPMENT, WHICH IF CLOSER THAN 20 FEET, WILL SET THE
 DISTANCE YOU NEED TO MAINTAIN.
  
 3) THE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PAD MAY NOT BE INSTALLED
 WITHIN THE REQUIRED FIVE (5) FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER. THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER IS REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF THE LOCATION
 OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT.
  
 4) IMPROVEMENTS IN THIS AREA, TO INCLUDE NEW PLAYGROUND
 EQUIPMENT, REQUIRES THAT THE LANDSCAPE BUFFERS BE
 PLANTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY REQUIREMENTS. PRIOR TO
 ZONING APPROVAL OF THIS PERMIT, EITHER SUBMIT
 VERIFICATION THAT THE BUFFERS MEET THE LANDSCAPE CODE
 OR SUBMIT A LANDSCAPE PERMIT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
 MATERIAL TO BRING THE SITE INTO COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 LANDSCAPE CODE.
  
 5) PROVIDE THE HEIGHT OF THE PROPOSED EQUIPMENT.
  
 6) WILL THERE BE AN AWNING COVERING THE PLAYGROUND AND
 EQUIPMENT? WHERE WILL THIS BE ATTACHED? HOW TALL IS THE
 AWNING AND SUPPORT POSTS?
