 AREA OF THE STRUCTURE. THEREFORE, THIS PROJECT IS A
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION PER FBC EXISTING BUILDING SECTION
 505.1.
  
 2) FBC-R310.1 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE REQUIRED.
 BASEMENTS, HABITABLE ATTICS AND EVERY SLEEPING ROOM
 SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPERABLE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING. SPECIFY THE TYPE AND THE SIZE OF THE
 WINDOWS IN BEDROOM NUMBER 3 TO SHOW THAT THEY MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF FBC-R310.1, R301.1.1, R301.1.2 &
 R301.1.3.
  
 3) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF
 THE DIFFERENT ROOFING MATERIALS, WINDOW/GLASS TYPES,
 STRUCTURAL MULLIONS AND EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES. THE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE CGI
 MULLIONS WITH NOA NO. 15-0420.07 IS NOT LISTED IN THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL SCHEDULE ON SHEET 2 AND DOES NOT HAVE
 A SHOP REVIEW STAMP FROM THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
  
 4) THE PLANS ARE LABELED PHASE 1 AND PHASE 2. SINCE
 THEY WERE BOTH SUBMITTED UNDER THE SAME PERMIT NUMBER
 ALL OF THE WORK SHOWN FOR BOTH PHASES WILL NEED TO BE
 COMPLETED BEFORE A FINAL INSPECTION CAN BE APPROVED AND
 A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION ISSUED. FBC 111.4

 EXTENT OF THE PROPOSED WORK AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT
 WILL CONFORM TO CODE REQUIREMENTS. (CLEARLY DEFINE YOUR
 SCOPE OF WORK ON THE PLANS). SUCH DRAWINGS SHALL
 INDICATE THE APPLICABLE DESIGN CODE. CORRECT NOTE 1 TO
 READ THE 2011 EDITION OF THE NEC.
 2. FBC-R4002.9/NEC 406.9(B) RECEPTACLES IN WET
 LOCATIONS. 15 AND 20 AMPERE, 125 AND 250 VOLT
 RECEPTACLES INSTALLED IN A WET LOCATION SHALL HAVE AN
 ENCLOSURE THAT IS WEATHERPROOF WHETHER OR NOT THE
 ATTACHMENT PLUG CAP IS INSERTED. ALL 15 AND 20 AMPERE,
 125 AND 250 VOLT NONLOCKING RECEPTACLES SHALL BE LISTED
 WEATHER-RESISTANT TYPE ?WR?.
 3. FBC-ER404.1: A MINIMUM OF 75% OF THE LAMPS IN
 PERMANENTLY INSTALLED LIGHTING FIXTURES SHALL BE
 HIGH-EFFICACY LAMPS OR A MINIMUM OF 75% OF THE
 PERMANENTLY INSTALLED LIGHTING FIXTURES SHALL CONTAIN
 ONLY HIGH EFFICIENCY LAMPS.
 4. FBC-RE3905.6.2 NEC 314.27(A) LUMINAIRE OUTLETS.
 BOXES USED AT LUMINAIRE OR LAMPHOLDER OUTLETS IN A
 CEILING SHALL BE REQUIRED TO SUPPORT A LUMINAIRE
 WEIGHING A MINIMUM OF 50 LB.
 5. MARK ON THE PLANS THE LOCATION OF ALL HVAC EQUIPMENT
 IF WITHIN THE AREA OF WORK.
 6. PER FBC MECHANICAL VENTILATION IS REQUIRED IN THE
 TOILET ROOMS WHENEVER THE ROOM IS OCCUPIED. THEREFORE
 THE EXHAUST FANS SHALL BE CONTROLLED WITH THE LIGHT
 SWITCH.
 7. FBC-RE3901.2.1/NEC 210.52 (A)(1) SPACING.
 RECEPTACLES SHALL BE INSTALLED SUCH THAT NO POINT
 MEASURED HORIZONTALLY ALONG THE FLOOR LINE IN ANY WALL
 SPACE IS MORE THAN 6 FT. FROM A RECEPTACLE OUTLET. THIS
 INCLUDES THE DISTANCE FROM THE EDGE OF THE WALL.
 THEREFORE, YOU SHALL ADD OR RELOCATE THE EXISTING
 OUTLETS IN THE MASTER BEDROOM TO COMPLY.
 8. FBC-RE3903.4 NEC 210.70(A)(3) STORAGE OR EQUIPMENT
 SPACES. AT LEAST ONE LIGHTING OUTLET CONTAINING A
 SWITCH OR CONTROLLED BY A WALL SWITCH SHALL BE
 INSTALLED WHERE THESE SPACES ARE USED FOR STORAGE OR
 CONTAIN EQUIPMENT REQUIRING SERVICING. THE LIGHTING
 OUTLET SHALL BE PROVIDED AT OR NEAR THE EQUIPMENT
 REQUIRING SERVICING. IF THERE IS EQUIPMENT INSIDE THE
 ATTIC A SERVICE GFI OUTLET IS ALSO REQUIRED.
