 4. APPLICATION SHOULD BE MADE TO CONVERT THE 2
 UNPERMITTED STUDIO APARTMENTS BACK TO A SINGLE 1
 BEDROOM APARTMENT.

 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE, ADDITIONALLY, INSERT

 FBC 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN
 UPON SUITABLE MATERIAL. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE
 AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT
 IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. SUCH DRAWINGS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM
 OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS,
 WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE
 TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE SPECIFIC,
 AND THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT BE CITED AS A WHOLE
 OR IN PART, NOR SHALL THE TERM "LEGAL" OR ITS
 EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR SPECIFIC
 INFORMATION. ALL INFORMATION, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS

 CORRECTIONS REQUIRED:
 1. 1. REGARDLESS OF WHEN THE CONVERSION WAS COMPLETED,
 IT IS BEING PERMITTED NOW AND THEREFORE SHALL COMPLY
 WITH CURRENT NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE REQUIREMENTS.
 (2011).
 2. IN ADDITION TO THE EXISTING OUTLETS INDICATED ON THE
 DRAWING, YOU SHALL ADD THOSE MARKED IN RED TO COMPLY
 WITH MINIMUM CODE REQUIREMENTS. MARKINGS ARE
 APPROXIMATE, CONSULT WITH INSPECTOR IN THE FIELD FOR
 ACCURATE REQUIREMENTS.
 3. OF THE NEW REQUIRED OUTLETS MARKED ON THE PLANS,
 THOSE HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW SHALL BE GFCI PROTECTED FOR
 THE KITCHEN COUNTERS AND BATHROOMS.
 4. THOSE OUTLETS HIGHLIGHTED IN GREEN SHALL BE IN
 ADDITION TO GFCI PROTECTED, BE WEATHER RESISTANT AND
 HAVE AN IN-USE TYPE COVER AS WELL.
 5. BATHROOM TO APT 1 REQUIRES AN EXHAUST FAN WHICH
 SHOULD COME ON WITH THE LIGHTS.
 6. APT. 2 IS MISSING A WALL SWITCH ADJACENT TO THE MAIN
 ENTRY FOR THE CEILING LIGHT.
 7. NEC 406.12 ALL RECEPTACLES IN A DWELLING SHALL BE
 TAMPER RESISTANT.
 8. NEC 210.12, ARC-FAULT REQUIREMENTS AS PER NEC SHALL
 BE COMPLIED WITH.
 9. NEC 240.24(B) REQUIRES THAT EACH TENANT HAVE ACCESS
 TO THEIR PANEL AT ALL TIMES. THEREFORE, UNLESS EACH
 TENANT HAS THEIR PANEL INSIDE THEIR UNIT AND YOU HAVE A
 COMMON ELECTRICAL PANEL FOR BOTH UNITS, THE PANEL SHALL
 BE IN A PLACE ACCESSIBLE TO BOTH TENANTS.
 10. NEC 408.4 YOU SHALL SUBMIT LOAD CALCS AND A PANEL
 SCHEDULE
 11. NEC 215.5 YOU SHALL PROVIDE A RISER DIAGRAM SHOWING
 CONDUCTOR SIZING AND INDICATE NUMBER AND LOCATION OF
 EVERY PANEL.
