 1) COVER SHEET T: PLEASE UPDATE ALL 2010 CODE
 REFERENCES LISTED UNDER PROJECT DATA- THE 2014 FIFTH
 EDITION OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODES WENT INTO EFFECT
 ON JUNE 30, 2015.
 2) REFER TO SECTION 809 FBC-14 EXISITING BUILDING CODE-
 TWO WAREHOUSE/OFFICE SUITES ARE NOW BEING COMBINED
 (SUITE NUMBERS NOT SHOWN ON PLANS) AND NEW ENLARGED
 CONDITIONED SPACES ARE BEING CONSTRUCTED. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMPLIANCE INFORMATION AS
 REQUIRED BY THE FLORIDA ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE:
 A) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF AC LOAD CALCULATIONS FOR THE NEW
 SPACES BEING CONDITIONED BY RTU'S 1, 1-1, 2, & 3. REFER
 TO SECTION C403.2.1 CALCULATION OF HEATING AND COOLING
 LOADS.
 DESIGN LOADS SHALL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 PROCEDURES DESCRIBED IN THE ASHRAE/ACCA STANDARD 183 OR
 ACCA MANUAL N AND SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE CODE
 COMPLIANCE FORM SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
 WHEN THE BUILDING IS PERMITTED OR, IN THE EVENT THE
 MECHANICAL PERMIT IS OBTAINED AT A LATER TIME, THE
 SIZING CALCULATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED WITH THE
 APPLICATION FOR THE MECHANICAL PERMIT. HEATING AND
 COOLING LOADS SHALL BE ADJUSTED TO ACCOUNT FOR LOAD
 REDUCTIONS THAT ARE ACHIEVED WHEN ENERGY RECOVERY
 SYSTEMS ARE UTILIZED IN THE HVAC SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH THE ASHRAEHVAC SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT HANDBOOK.
 ALTERNATIVELY, DESIGN LOADS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY AN
 APPROVED EQUIVALENT COMPUTATION PROCEDURE, USING THE
 DESIGN PARAMETERS SPECIFIED IN CHAPTER 3.
 B) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF ENERGY CALCULATIONS PER THE
 FOLLOWING CODE SECTIONS: C101.4.4 CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY
 OR USE.
 SPACES UNDERGOING A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY THAT WOULD
 RESULT IN AN INCREASE IN DEMAND FOR EITHER FOSSIL FUEL
 OR ELECTRICAL ENERGY SHALL COMPLY WITH THIS CODE. WHERE
 THE USE IN A SPACE CHANGES FROM ONE USE IN TABLE
 C405.5.2(1) OR (2) TO ANOTHER USE IN TABLE C405.5.2(1)
 OR (2), THE INSTALLED LIGHTING WATTAGE SHALL COMPLY
 WITH SECTION C405.5.
 C101.4.5 CHANGE IN SPACE CONDITIONING.
 ANY NONCONDITIONED SPACE THAT IS ALTERED TO BECOME
 CONDITIONED SPACE SHALL BE REQUIRED TO BE BROUGHT INTO
 FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THIS CODE.
 3) SHEET M6.1: PLEASE CLARIFY THE SEQUENCE OF OPERATION
 RELATING TO FAN SHUT DOWN OF THE AC SYSTEMS. WILL THE
 SYSTEMS ALLL BE LINKED TOGETHER?
 4) SHEETS A6 & M7.1: PROVIDE THE WIND LOAD DESIGN
 CRITERIA FOR INSTALLATION OF THE RTU'S, RTU CURBS, AND
 EF-1-1. REVIEW SECTIONS 301.5 FBC-14 MECHANICAL, AND
 SECTION 1609 FBC-14 BUILDING. PROVIDE DESIGN PRESSURES
 ON THE PLAN -LATERAL AND UPLIFT- AND COMPLETE
 INSTALLATION DETAILS.
 5) SHUTOFF DAMPER CONTROLS FOR ALL RTU- O/A SUPPLIES IS
 REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH C403.2.4.4. VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE FOR ALL UNITS.
