 REVISION DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE LETTER FROM THE ARCHITECT FOR THE GACO FIRESTOP2
 SPRAY FOAM INSULATION IS NOT ADEQUATE. THE ARCHITECT
 NEEDS TO SPECIFY THE APPLIED THICKNESS OF THE
 INSULATION AND WHERE IT WILL BE APPLIED (THE UNDERSIDE
 OF ROOF SHEATHING IN ATTIC?). FBC 107.2.1
  
 2) THE APPROVED PLAN SHOWS R-30 BATT INSULATION AT THE
 BOTTOM CORD OF THE TRUSSES AND A VENTED ATTIC WITH A
 CONTINUOUS 4" SOFFIT VENT. WHEN THE AIR-IMPERMEABLE
 INSTALLATION IS INSTALLED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ROOF
 SHEATHING THE ATTIC SPACE WILL BE COMPLETELY CONTAINED
 WITHIN THE BUILDING THERMAL ENVELOPE. THE ATTIC VENTS
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE SEALED TO CREATE AN UN-VENTED ATTIC
 ASSEMBLY. SEE FBC-R 806.4 THE ARCHITECT NEEDS TO
 CLARIFY THIS IN THE LETTER.
  
 3) AS THIS IS A NEW ADDITION, INDICATE HOW THIS
 UN-VENTED ATTIC ASSEMBLY WILL BE THERMALLY SEPARATED
 FROM THE EXISTING VENTED ATTIC SPACE AND HOW THE
 UN-VENTED ATTIC SPACE IN THE ADDITION WILL BE ACCESSED.
