 SHEET 1 THE INTERIOR DEMO & FLOOR PLAN INDICATES THE
 REMOVAL OF INTERIOR WALLS. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE IF
 THE FLOORS ARE GOING TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED IN THE
 ROOMS WHERE WORK OCCURS. IF THE FLOORS ARE GOING TO BE
 REPAIRED JUST IN FILLED THEN NO FLOOR INSULATION IS
 REQUIRED.
 IF THE FLOORING IS TO BE REMOVED IN THE ROOMS WHERE THE
 WALLS WERE REMOVED THEN COMPLIANCE WITH FLOOR
 INSULATION IS REQUIRED. PLEASE REVIEW THESE CODE
 REQUIREMENTS IF APPLICABLE AND SUBMIT A REVISION TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT FOR TO REVIEW FOR CODE COMPLIANCE:
  
 2010 FBC-B;
 1) 603.1 ALLOWABLE MATERIALS.
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SHALL BE PERMITTED IN BUILDINGS
 OF TYPE I OR II CONSTRUCTION IN THE FOLLOWING
 APPLICATIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 603.1.1
 THROUGH 603.1.3:
 2.EXCEPTION (2).INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED
 FLOOR AND SOLID DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE
 SHALL BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT
 MORE THAN 200.
  
 2) 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
