 1) THE PLANS INDICATE THAT THE EXISTING POOL SINGLE
 MAIN DRAIN IS TO BE TIED IN WITH THE NEW SPA
 CIRCULATION SYSTEM USING ONE 2 H.P. VARIABLE SPEED
 JANDY STEALTH PRO SERIES PUMP. THIS MODIFICATION WILL
 INCREASE THE WATER VELOCITY AT THE EXISTING POOL DRAIN
 IN VIOLATION OF 2010 FBCR 4101.6.3 AND INCREASES THE
 CHANCES OF ENTRAPMENT. PLEASE CORRECT. NOTE: THE
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE ALLOWS THE EXISTING POOL
 CIRCULATION SYSTEM TO REMAIN AS IT IS, AS LONG AS NO
 CHANGES ARE MADE TO IT. THE NEW SPA IS REQUIRED TO
 COMPLY WITH THE 2010 FBCR.
  
 2) THE PUMP CURVE CHART THAT WAS SUBMITTED SHOWS A
 TOTAL DYNAMIC HEAD OF 73 FEET. THIS IS A LOT OF HEAD
 PRESSURE. SUBMIT THE TDH CALCULATIONS FROM THE ENGINEER
 THAT WERE USED TO ARRIVE AT THIS NUMBER. INCLUDE THE
 HEAD LOSS SPECS. FOR THE FILTER AND OTHER COMPONENTS.
