 11-4.24.1 GENERAL. SINKS REQUIRED TO BE ACCESSIBLE BY

 11-4.24.2 HEIGHT. SINKS SHALL BE MOUNTED WITH THE
 COUNTER OR RIM NO HIGHER THAN 34 INCHES (865 MM) ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR.
 11-4.24.3 KNEE CLEARANCE. KNEE CLEARANCE THAT IS AT
 LEAST 27 INCHES (685 MM) HIGH, 30 INCHES (760 MM) WIDE,
 AND 19 INCHES (485 MM) DEEP SHALL BE PROVIDED
 UNDERNEATH SINKS.
 11-4.24.4 DEPTH. EACH SINK SHALL BE A MAXIMUM OF 61/2
 INCHES (165 MM) DEEP.
 11-4.24.5 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AT
 LEAST 30 INCHES BY 48 INCHES (760 MM BY 1219 MM)
 COMPLYING WITH SECTION 11-4.2.4 SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
 FRONT OF A SINK TO ALLOW FORWARD APPROACH. THE CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE SHALL BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE AND SHALL
 EXTEND A MAXIMUM OF 19 INCHES (485 MM) UNDERNEATH THE
 SINK (SEE FIGURE 32).
 11-4.24.6 EXPOSED PIPES AND SURFACES. HOT WATER AND
 DRAIN PIPES EXPOSED UNDER SINKS SHALL BE INSULATED OR
 OTHERWISE CONFIGURED SO AS TO PROTECT AGAINST CONTACT.
 THERE SHALL BE NO SHARP OR ABRASIVE SURFACES UNDER
 SINKS.
 11-4.24.7 FAUCETS. FAUCETS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION
 11-4.27.4. LEVER-OPERATED, PUSH-TYPE, TOUCH-TYPE, OR
 ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED MECHANISMS ARE ACCEPTABLE

 THE RELEASING MECHANISM ON ALL DOORS SHALL OPEN THE
 DOOR WITH NOT MORE THAN ONE RELEASING OPERATION. THE
 RELEASING MECHANISM SHALL HAVE AN OBVIOUS METHOD OF
 OPERATION THAT IS READILY OPERATED UNDER ALL LIGHTING
 CONDITIONS. THE RELEASING DEVICE SHOULD BE CAPABLE OF
 BEING OPERATED WITH ONE HAND AND SHOULD NOT REQUIRE

 1) THE CITY COMMISSION APPROVED THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE
 PLANS FOR THE BUILDING AT 560 OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD WITH
 THE APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 359-05. THE CITY
 COMMISSION APPROVAL DID NOT INCLUDE GROUND MOUNTED A/C
 EQUIPMENT. THE A/C UNITS WERE APPROVED ON THE ROOF AND
 SCREENED BY THE PARAPETS.
  
 2) THE RELOCATION OF THE A/C EQUIPMENT FROM THE ROOFTOP
 TO GROUND LEVEL REQUIRES THE APPROVAL OF A MINOR
 PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT TO REVISE THE SITE AND
 THE LANDSCAPE PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT ZONING STAFF IS
 NOT IN FAVOR OF LOCATING A/C EQUIPMENT, EVEN WITH
 SCREENING, FRONTING ON OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD, THE MAIN
 VEHICULAR ENTRANCE INTO WEST PALM BEACH. PLEASE
 CONSIDER INSTALLING THE NEW A/C EQUIPMENT ON THE ROOF
 WITH THE EXISTING SCREENED UNITS.
  
 3) IF THE RELOCATION OF THE A/C UNITS ON THE GROUND IS
 PURSUED, THEN THE A/C UNITS SHALL BE SCREENED FROM
 PUBLIC VIEW THROUGH ANY COMBINATION OF LANDSCAPING,
 WALLS AND EQUIPMENT LOCATION PER THE CITYPLACE
 DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT REQUIREMENTS. ELEVATIONS
 SHOWING THE SCREENING OF THE FULL HEIGHT OF THE A/C
 EQUIPMENT AT INSTALLATION SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH BOTH
 THE MINOR PD AMENDMENT APPLICATION AND THE BUILDING
 PERMIT.
  
 4) A RECENT SURVEY, LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD, SHALL BE
 PROVIDED SHOWING THE ACCURATE LOCATION OF THE PROPOSED
 A/C EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING ITS SETBACK FROM THE
 OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD RIGHT-OF-WAY.
