 SHEET F2 INDICATES THE USE OF TYCO WINDOW SPRINKLERS;
 HOWEVER, SHEET A1 INDICATES THE GLASS DOORS AND GLASS
 CURTAIN WALLS ARE FIRE RATED. COORDINATE THE INTENDED
 DESIGN. ALSO, STANDARD SPRAY SPRINKLERS ARE LOCATED
 CLOSER THAN SIX FROM ADJACENT WINDOW SPRINKLERS AND MAY
 CAUSE COLD SOLDERING. FOR WINDOW ASSEMBLIES WITH
 VERTICAL MULLIONS, SPRINKLERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 LOCATED WITHIN EACH MULLION.
  
 NOTE: IF THE DESIGN INTENT IS TO USE TYCO WINDOW
 SPRINKLERS TO ACHIEVE A FIRE RATED SEPARATION, THE
 SPRINKLERS MUST BE INSTALLED ACCORDING TO THE UL
 LISTING DATA AND SHALL WET THE ENTIRE GLAZING SURFACE.
 SPRINKLERS CANNOT BE USED TO PROTECT OPERABLE DOORS OR
 WINDOWS. THE WINDOW SPRINKLERS DO NOT ALLOW HORIZONTAL
 WINDOW MULLIONS AND REQUIRE THE GLASS CURTAIN WALL TO
 BE ATTACHED TO A THREE FOOT HIGH PONY WALL TO KEEP
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS AT LEAST TWO INCHES AWAY FROM THE
 GLAZING. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE GLAZING ASSEMBLY
 AS THE SPRINKLER POSITIONING VARIES FOR BUTT-GLAZED
 INSTALLATIONS COMPARED TO VERTICAL MULLION
 INSTALLATIONS. VERTICAL MULLIONS SHALL BE OF A DEPTH
 THAT PREVENTS COLD SOLDERING OF ADJACENT SPRINKLERS.
