 1. REPEAT COMMENT: PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION
 NECESSARY FOR THE EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE
 XIV OF THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS,
 INCLUDING THE XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS. EXAMPLE -
 22,590 SQ. FT. OF OPEN SPACE @ ONE SHADE, FLOWERING OR
 FRUIT TREE FOR EVERY 1,200 SQ. FT. = 19 TREES REQUIRED.
  
 2. THE PLANT LIST CALLS OUT "CALUSIA SM LEAF". IS THIS
 MEANT TO BE THE SMALL LEAF CLUSIA (CLUSIA GUTTIFERA)
 TREE OR THE CLUSA (HAMELIA PATENS) SHRUB?
  
 3. THE PLANT LIST SHOWS 4 LIGUSTRUM TREES, YET THE
 SYMBOLS SEEM TO SHOW 5 ON THE PLAN.
  
 4. THE "EXISTING 24 FOOT COCONUT PALM TO REMAIN" SHOWN
 ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE LOT, CAN BE SEEN ON THE
 EASTERN SIDE OF THE LOT ON THE GOOGLE STREET VIEW.
 PLEASE EXPLAIN/CORRECT.
  
 5. THE SITE DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE A SUFFICIENT NUMBER
 OF SHADE, FLOWERING OR FRUIT TREES. THERE APPEAR TO
 ONLY BE 6 ON-SITE. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY 35% OF THE
 REQUIRED TREES MAY BE SUBSTITUTED WITH PALM TREES. THIS
 ALLOWS ONLY PERMITS 7 REQUIRED TREES TO BE REPLACED
 WITH PALMS. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THIS IS SHOWN ON THE
 PLANS AS WELL AS COMPLY WITH THE PALM CONVERSION LISTED
 IN ARTICLE XIV.
  
 6. PLEASE CLEARLY DIFFERENTIATE THE TREES AND SHRUBS ON

 1. PLEASE SUBMIT A CERTIFIED COST ESTIMATE THAT
 INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND
 LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO UNIT COST.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE
 XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS. WHEN PROVIDING THE TABULATION
 , OPEN SPACE IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TOTAL SQUARE
 FOOTAGE OF THE SITE AND THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE
 STRUCTURES ON THE SITE.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-448 (D) (2), THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN SHALL INCLUDE ALL OF THE ITEMS ENUMERATED IN THIS
 SECTION INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE LOCATION OF
 ALL UTILITIES (OVERHEAD AND UNDERGROUND), EASEMENTS AND
 OVERHANGING TREE CANOPIES FROM NEIGHBORING PROPERTY.
 APPARENTLY THE FICUS HEDGE AND ARECA PALMS ARE IN A
 UTILITY EASEMENT.
  
 4. THE PLANT LIST SHALL INCLUDE THE PLANT NAME,
 QUANTITY, SIZE AND SPACING FOR ALL PROPOSED PLANT
 MATERIAL. PLEASE NOTE THAT CONTAINER SIZE DOES NOT
 REFLECT ACTUAL PLANT SIZE.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 INCLUDING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY, IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 DESIGNED TO HAVE 120 PERCENT COVERAGE. THE PLAN
 INDICATES THAT THERE WILL BE 100 PERCENT COVERAGE.
  
 6. IRRIGATION REQUIRES A SEPARATE PERMIT. PLEASE APPLY
 FOR AN IRRIGATION PERMIT AND SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF THE
 IRRIGATION PLAN.
  
 7. SHOW THE ACTUAL PLANT BEDS.
  
 8. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF SOD TO BE INSTALLED
