 1. PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR PLAN A COPY OF CITY STANDARD
 DUMPSTER DETAIL. ONE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM:

 THIS WILL HELP YOU WITH CONSTRUCTING TO MINIMUM
 DIMENSIONS OUR CITY VEHICLES NEED TO OPERATE.
 2. INTERIOR DIMENSIONS OF THE ENCLOSURE MUST BE A
 MINIMUM OF 12'-6" WIDE AND 12' DEEP. A CONCRETE PARKING
 STOP BAR 10' LONG MUST BE CENTERED (FROM GATES) AND
 INSTALLED 18" FROM THE BACK WALL. STEEL BARS WILL NEED
 TO BE DRILLED THRU THE STOP BAR AND INTO THE INTERIOR
 FLOOR OF THE ENCLOSURE TO STOP THE STOP BAR FROM MOVING
 WHEN THE DUMPSTER IS SET INSIDE.
 3. DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12'-6"
 OPENING BETWEEN THE GATE POSTS.
 4. IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED THAT YOU ADD A RECYCLING
 CENTER TO YOUR DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE, ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU
 WILL BE CHARGED FOR RECYCLING, WHETHER YOU USE IT OR
 NOT. A RECYCLING CENTER WILL CALL FOR A LARGER
 ENCLOSURE.
 5. THE OPENING OF THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE MUST BE ANGLED
 SO THAT A 40' LONG TRUCK WITH THE FORKS EXTENDED CAN
 APPROACH THE OPENING AND PICK UP THE DUMPSTER WITHOUT
 MAKING A SHARP TURN OR A THREE POINT TURN.
 6. THE TRUCK NEEDS TO HAVE NO LESS THAN A 26' HIGH
 VERTICAL CLEARANCE AREA FOR THE TRUCK TO PICK UP THE
 DUMPSTER. THIS IS THE CLEAR AREA OVER THE DUMPSTER AND
 WHERE THE TRUCK WILL BE STOPPED TO UNLOAD THE DUMPSTER.
 7. THE TRUCK NEEDS TO HAVE NO LESS THAN 14' HIGH
 VERTICAL CLEARANCE AND 12' HORIZONTAL CLEARANCES FOR
 THE TRUCK TO DRIVE THROUGH.
 8. NO FLOOR DRAIN TO THE SANITARY SEWER CAN BE
 INSTALLED IN THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
 9. THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE MUST BE LOCATED TO ALLOW THE
 DUMP TRUCK TO BACK UP NO MORE THAN 50' STRAIGHT BACK
 AFTER RESETTING THE DUMPSTER IN THE ENCLOSURE.
 10. PREVIOUS DUMSPTER AREA WILL REMAIN? REMOVE? PLEASE
 INCLUDE A SUMMARY EXPLAINING THIS. IT MAY CHANGE YOUR
 PERVIOUS TO IMPERVIOUS CALCULATIONS WHICH WILL CHANGE
