 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) INDICATE THE LOCATION OF THE ADDITION ON THE SURVEY
 OR PROVIDE SITE PLANS. SPECIFY THE DISTANCES TO
 PROPERTY LINES.
  
 2) SPECIFY THE ANCHORS THAT WILL BE USED TO STRAP THE 2
 X 6 RAFTERS TO THE TIE BEAM. THE PLANS SPECIFY A
 SIMPSON HS10 MASONRY CONNECTOR, HOWEVER I COULD NOT
 LOCATE THIS CONNECTOR IN THE SIMPSON CATALOG. PLEASE
 CLARIFY AND SUBMIT TWO CURRENT COPIES OF THE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR ALL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS AS
 REQUIRED BY DCA RULE 9B-72.
  
 3) THE CONCRETE FOUNDATION IS REQUIRED TO BE A MINIMUM
 OF 4 INCHES ABOVE THE ADJACENT GRADE PER FBC R404.1.6
 AND EXTERIOR FOOTINGS SHALL BE AT LEAST 12" BELOW GRADE
 PER FBC R403.1.4. THIS REQUIRES A MINIMUM 16" THICK
 FOOTING. PLEASE REVISE PLANS.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC R320 FOR TERMITE
 PROTECTION.
  
 5) THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE ANY ROOF OVERHANG. FBC
 R320.7 REQUIRES GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ON ALL
 BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES HORIZONTAL
 PROJECTION.
  
 6) FBC R803.2.3.1 REQUIRES ROOF SHEATHING TO BE
 FASTENED WITH 8D RING-SHANK NAILS AT 6 INCHES ON
 CENTER. SPECIFY THIS ON PLANS.
  
 7) SPECIFY THE SPACING OF THE ROOF RAFTERS ON THE
 PLANS. THEY APPEAR TO BE 2 FEET ON CENTER.
  
 8) SUBMIT TWO CURRENT COPIES OF THE MIAMI-DADE NOAS OR
 STATE OF FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE EXTERIOR
 DOOR AND THE ROOF COVERING MATERIAL AS REQUIRED BY DCA
