 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE
 XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS. SHOW HOW YOU ARRIVED AT THE
 OPEN SPACE CALCULATION AND SHOW TREES AND SHRUBS
 REQUIRED AND PROPOSED.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-447 (D) (2), THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN SHALL CONTAIN ALL OF THE ITEMS LISTED IN THIS
 SECTION.
  
 3. A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ANY TREES
 THAT WILL BE RELOCATED OR REMOVED. THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION CAN BE OBTAINED AT THE FRONT DESK OF THE
 PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT.
  
 4. SOD AND IRRIGATION IS REQUIRED IN THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY
 IF SUCH RIGHTS-OF-WAY EXIST.
  
 5. ALL EXISTING TREES, SHRUBS AND GROUND COVER THAT IS
 EXISTING AND WILL REMAIN SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED BY
 NAME AND SHALL BE SHOWN IN THE CORRECT LOCATION. ALL
 BED LINES SHALL BE SHOWN.
  
 6. ALL GROUND LEVEL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS, GENERATORS,
 GARBAGE CONTAINERS, POOL PUMPS AND OTHER MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNLESS APPROPRIATE
 SCREENING IS PROVIDED.
  
 7. PLEASE SHOW ALL OVERHEAD AND UNDERGROUND LINES,
 UTILITIES, OVERHANGING TREE CANOPIES FROM NEIGHBORING
 PROPERTY, LIGHTING, EASEMENTS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT
 MAY INTERFERE WITH THE PROPOSED LANDSCAPING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS.
  
 8. STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT NO HEDGE BE PLANTED ALONG THE
 FRONT PROPERTY LINE. IT WILL RESTRICT VISIBILITY WHEN
 COMING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY AND IT WILL BLOCK THE FRONT
 YARD AREA FROM THE STREET WHICH COULD CREATE A
 POTENTIAL FOR CRIME.
  
 9. ALL PROHIBITED SPECIES SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE
 SITE.
  
 10. SUBMIT A COST ESTIMATE THAT INCLUDES THE TOTAL COST
 OF ALL LANDSCAPE MATERIALS AND LABOR, BROKEN DOWN INTO
 UNIT COST.
  
 11. AN IRRIGATION PERMIT IS REQUIRED. PURSUANT TO
 SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL AREAS THAT ARE
 TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120 PERCENT COVERAGE,
 INCLUDING THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
