 1. PLAN INDICATES 4" ROUND SUPPLY DUCT TO COMPLY WITH
 EXCEPTION #3 PER FBC-M 607.5.3. FIRST, FLEX DUCTS MAY
 NOT PENETRATE ANY FIRE RESISTANCE RATED ASSEMBLY IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-M 607.7. PLAN STILL SHOWS FLEX DUCT
 PENETRATING THE RATED WALL. ALSO, ANY DUCT PENETRATION

 WALL ASSEMBLIES WITHOUT PROTECTION. EXAMPLES: 4 INCH
 SUPPLY AND EXHAUST AT STAFF RESTROOM B14, 10X3 EXHAUST
 AT GAME ROOM B03. THESE ARE EXAMPLES AND NOT INTENDED
 TO BE AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST. CHECK ALL WALL PENETRATIONS
 FOR REQUIRED PROTECTION OF PENETRATIONS IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH FBC-M 607.1.
  
 2. AHU 3 AND AHU 4 SHARE A COMMON RETURN AIR PLENUM.
 EACH UNIT SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH DUCT SMOKE DETECTORS
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-M 606.2.2. THE DUCT SMOKE
 DETECTORS SHALL BE CONNECTED TO THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM
 SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-M 606.4.1.

 4. THE CLOTHES DRYER EXHAUST DUCT IS SHOWN PENETRATING

 SHALL BE PROHIBITED IN CLOTHES DRYER EXHAUST DUCTS IN

 BE PROTECTED AS A THROUGH-PENETRATION IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH FBC-B SECTION 712.
  
 5. THE DRYER EXHAUST DUCT SHALL NOT BE LOCATED IN A
 PLENUM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-M 601.5.
  
 6. OUTDOOR EXHAUST FANS AND CONDENSING UNITS SHALL BE
 DESIGNED AND INSTALLED FOR WIND RESISTANCE IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-M 301.12. PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S
 DATA FOR FANS AND CONDENSERS SHOWING THESE APPLIANCES
 ARE DESIGNED FOR WIND RESISTANCE. PROVIDE
 MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WIND
 RESISTANT INSTALLATION IF APPLICABLE. THERE IS NO
 INSTALLATION DETAIL ON PLANS FOR THE FANS.
 NOTE: THE CONDENSER INSTALLATION DETAIL REFERENCES
 FBC-M 301.13.1, WHICH WAS A PRESCRIPTIVE METHOD OF
 INSTALLATION IN THE 2004 FBC FOR R-3 OCCUPANCIES ONLY.
 THIS PRESCRIPTIVE METHOD IS NOT APPLICABLE. AN

 HAVE THE CAPACITY TO SUPPLY THE MINIMUM OUTDOOR AIRFLOW
 RATE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE 403.3 BASED ON
 THE OCCUPANCY OF THE SPACE AND THE OCCUPANT LOAD. THE
 FLOOR PLAN SHOWS SEVERAL DIFFERENT AREAS WITH DIFFERENT
 VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS, SUCH AS (EXAMPLES) THE BAR,
 GAME ROOM, LOUNGE AND FITNESS CENTER. PROVIDE
 SPACE-BY-SPACE VENTILATION CALCULATIONS SHOWING THE
 CORRECT OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION, OCCUPANT LOAD AND
 VENTILATION RATE FOR EACH SPACE.
 NOTE: COOLING LOADS MAY ALSO BE AFFECTED BY INCREASED

 10. NOTE ON PAGE M2.01 CALLS FOR MANUAL VOLUME DAMPER
