 LINE, THE LAV BRANCH LINE WOULD BE WITHIN A WALL AS
 DRAWN AND THE SHOWER DRAIN ABOVE THE FLOOR SLAB.
  
 1B) ON THIS SAME BRANCH LINE PLANS INDICATE A SINK
 RATHER THAN A LAVATORY WITH NO VENTING?
  
 1C) NEITHER THE LAV NOR SHOWER INDICATE THE SIZE OF
 PIPE FOR THE DRAINAGE PIPE? P 3005.4.1.
  
 1D) THE EXISTING BATHROOM RISER INDICATES A SINK (LAV)
 AND WASHING MACHINE BOTH DUMPING INTO A VERTICAL
 FITTING. PLEASE REVIEWP3005.1.
 P3005.1.1 HORIZONTAL TO VERTICAL (MULTIPLE CONNECTION
 FITTINGS). DOUBLE FITTINGS SUCH AS DOUBLE SANITARY TEES
 AND TEE-WYES OR APPROVED MULTIPLE CONNECTION FITTINGS
 AND BACK-TO-BACK FIXTURE ARRANGEMENTS THAT CONNECT TWO
 OR MORE BRANCHES AT THE SAME LEVEL SHALL BE PERMITTED
 AS LONG AS DIRECTLY OPPOSING CONNECTIONS ARE THE SAME
 SIZE AND THE DISCHARGE INTO DIRECTLY OPPOSING
 CONNECTIONS IS FROM SIMILAR FIXTURE TYPES OR FIXTURE
 GROUPS. DOUBLE SANITARY TEE PATTERNS SHALL NOT RECEIVE
 THE DISCHARGE OF BACK-TO-BACK WATER CLOSETS AND
 FIXTURES OR APPLIANCES WITH PUMPING ACTION DISCHARGE.
  
 1E) ALSO NOTE THAT THE PLAN INDICATES THE WASHING
 MACHINE BRANCH LINE IS HORIZONTAL, THE DRAIN PIPE
 SHOULD BE VERTICAL TO ALLOW THE WATER TO DISCHARGE
 SINCE THIS IS A PUMPING ACTION DISCHARGE. THIS DRAIN
 SHOULD TIE INTO THE HORIZONTAL DRAIN.P2706.2.1 LAUNDRY
 TRAY CONNECTION. A LAUNDRY TRAY WASTE LINE IS PERMITTED
 TO CONNECT INTO A STANDPIPE FOR THE AUTOMATIC CLOTHES
 WASHER DRAIN. THE STANDPIPES SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 30
 INCHES (762 MM) AS MEASURED FROM THE CROWN WEIR. THE
 OUTLET OF THE LAUNDRY TRAY SHALL BE A MAXIMUM
 HORIZONTAL DISTANCE OF 30 INCHES (762 MM) FROM THE
 STANDPIPE TRAP.
  
  
 1F) TO THE RIGHT END OF THE WASTE OR DRAIN PIPE THE
 PLANS INDICATE A 3" PIPE BUT AS THE FLOW LEADS TO THE
 LEFT PLANS INDICATE A 2" DRAIN PIPE. P3005.1.7 CHANGE
 IN SIZE. THE SIZE OF THE DRAINAGE PIPING SHALL NOT BE
 REDUCED IN SIZE IN THE DIRECTION OF THE FLOW. A 4-INCH
 BY 3-INCH (102 MM BY 76 MM) WATER CLOSET CONNECTION
 SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A REDUCTION IN SIZE.
