 THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS/INFORMATION ARE REQUIRED FOR
 GAS PLAN REVIEW TO MEET CODE COMPLIANCE.
  
 1. A GAS PERMIT CAN NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL THE GEN/RES
 PERMIT APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED BY ZONING FOR THE
 GENERATOR LOCATION. PLEASE KNOW THAT THE LOCATION OF
 THE PROPOSED GENERATOR MAY NEED TO MOVE DUE TO ZONING
 COMMENTS. PLEASE KNOW THAT IF THE PROPOSED GENERATOR
 NEEDS TO BE RELOCATED DUE TO ZONINGS COMMENTS THEN
 REVISED GAS PLANS WILL BE REQUIRED. PER FBC-2004

 NOTICE; PER 2004 FBC, FUEL GAS - POWERED EQUIPMENT
 PERMANENTLY INSTALLED EQUIPMENT POWERED BY INTERNAL
 COMBUSTION ENGINES SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND NFPA
 37.
  
 NFPA 37 INSTALLATION & USE OF STATIONARY COMBUSTION
 ENGINES & GAS TURBINES: 4.1.4 ENGINES (GENERATORS)
 LOCATED OUTDOORS SHALL BE MINIMUM OF 5 FT FROM OPENINGS
 IN WALLS (DOORS AND WINDOWS) & AT LEAST 5 FT FROM
 STRUCTURES HAVING COMBUSTIBLE WALLS. A MINIMUM
 CLEARANCE IS NOT REQUIRED WHEN (1) THE ADJACENT WALL
 HAS A MINIMUM FIRE RESISTANCE RATING OF 1 HOUR OR (2)
 THE WEATHERPROOF ENCLOSURE IS CONSTRUCTED OF
 NON-COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, AND IT HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED
 THAT A FIRE WITHIN THE ENCLOSURE WILL NOT IGNITE
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS OUTSIDE THE ENCLOSURE.
 INFORMATIVE: A.8.2.3.1 EXHAUST SYSTEMS SHOULD NOT
 TERMINATE UNDER STRUCTURES OR WHERE THE EXHAUST MIGHT
 BE DRAWN INTO THE VENTILATION INTAKES.
  
 2004 FMC 804.3.5 #3, WHERE THE TERMINATION IS LOCATED
 BELOW AN ADJACENT ROOF STRUCTURE, THE TERMINATION POINT
 SHALL BE LOCATED AT LEAST 3 FT FROM THE ROOF STRUCTURE.
  
 PLEASE NOTE, WHILE ZONING ALLOWS MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
 TO ENCROACH 4 FT INTO THE REQUIRED SETBACK, GENERATORS
 SHALL MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED ABOVE MENTIONED CLEARANCES
 TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY STRUCTURES, I.E. FENCE,
 BUILDING, WINDOWS, DOORS, OR OPENINGS.
 FOLLOW MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDED CLEARANCES AROUND
 EQUIPMENT FOR SERVICING,AND PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AT THE JOBSITE FOR THE FIELD
 INSPECTOR.
