 1) A NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 2) NO UPLIFT RESISTANCE VALUES ARE PROVIDED IN THE
 CATALOG OR STATE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE SIMPSON AB66
 POST BASE. R301.1 DESIGN.
 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, AND ALL PARTS THEREOF, SHALL
 BE CONSTRUCTED TO SAFELY SUPPORT ALL LOADS, INCLUDING
 DEAD LOADS, LIVE LOADS, ROOF LOADS, FLOOD LOADS AND
 WIND LOADS AS PRESCRIBED BY THIS CODE. THE CONSTRUCTION
 OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES SHALL RESULT IN A SYSTEM
 THAT PROVIDES A COMPLETE LOAD PATH CAPABLE OF
 TRANSFERRING ALL LOADS FROM THEIR POINT OF ORIGIN
 THROUGH THE LOAD-RESISTING ELEMENTS TO THE FOUNDATION.
 SPECIFY CONNECTORS THAT WILL PROVIDE A CONTINOUS LOAD
 PATH FOR WIND LOADS.
  
 3) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE SIMPSON CONNECTORS
 AS REQUIRED BY RULE 9B-72.
  
 4) FBC 106.3* CITY AMENDMENTS PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE
 PRODUCT WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9B-72 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
