2007-09-05 15:52:34MET WITH ROOFER TO DETERMINE IF A ROOF RECOVER WILL
 COMPLY WITH THE FEBC , SECTION 511.3. A ROOF CUT WAS
 TAKEN OF THE EXISTING ROOF SYSTEM AND INDICATED ONE
 ROOF APPLICATION. THE ROOF RECOVER PERMIT MAY BE ISSUED
 UPON APPROVAL BY PLAN REVIEW. ALSO ADVISED THE
 CONTRACTOR THAT A HVAC PERMIT SHALL BE OBTAINED SINCE
 THEEXISTING ROOF EQUIPMENT WILL BE REMOVED AND
 RELOCATED ON STANDS. DETAILS SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR
 PLAN REVIEW.

 DENIED BY BUILDING
  
 1) A RECORDED COPY OF THE NOTICE OF
 COMMENCEMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE A
 PERMIT CAN BE ISSUED.
  
 2) THE CONDITION OF THE EXISTING ROOF WILL BE REQUIRED
 TO BE INSPECTED BY THE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DEPT.
  
 3) THE FASTENERS SPECIFIED IN THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NOA
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE USED. THEY CAN NOT BE CHANGED BY
 ANYONE EXCEPT MIAMI-DADE PRODUCT CONTROL. SEE PAGE 74
 OF THE NOA.
  
 4) THE APPROVEDASSEMBLY SPECIFIED HAS A DESIGN
 PRESSURE OF -60 PSF WHICH IS TOO LOW FOR THE CORNER
 AREAS THAT REQUIRE -89 PSF. HOWEVER GENERAL LIMITATION
 NUMBER 7 ALLOWS FOR ENHANCED FASTENING TO INCREASE THE
 DESIGN PRESSUREUSING RAS 117 CALCULATIONS. SEE PAGE 85.
 THE NOA REQUIRES THESE CALCULATIONS TO BE DONE BY A
 FLORIDA LICENSED ENGINEER, ARCHITECT OR REGISTERED ROOF
 CONSULTANT. SUBMIT SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 5)SUBMIT THE FIRST 14 PAGES OF THE NOA WHICH LIST THE
 MATERIALS, FASTENERS, ETC.
