 INSULATION AS R-30. THE SINGLE ASSEMBLY 2 X 6 FLAT ROOF
 ABOVE HIS CLOSET DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE FOR R-30
 INSULATION. PLEASE REVISE THE ENERGY CALCS. SEE FBC
 CHAPTER 13-6.
  
 5) THE ROOF ZONES COMPONENT AND CLADDING FIGURE ON
 SHEET 2 IS INCORRECT. THE CORNERS OF THE HIP ROOF IS
 ZONE 3. SEE FIGURE R301.2(8).
  
 6) SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THE ROOFING MATERIAL
 FOR THE FLAT ROOF. FAC RULE 9B-72

 8) SPECIFY WHAT METHOD OF ATTACHMENT WILL BE USED TO
 INSTALL THE ROOF TILES. CIRCLE THE ATTACHMENT METHOD
 THAT WILL BE USED FROM THE ONES LISTED IN THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL. SPECIFY WHICH ONE OF THE APPROVED ASSEMBLIES
 AND FASTENING OPTION THAT WILL BE USED TO INSTALL THE
 ROOFING MATERIAL FOR THE FLAT ROOF SECTION. IF ENHANCED
 FASTENING IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES FOR THE PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS, THEN
 SUBMIT RAS 117 CALCULATIONS (IF THIS IS ALLOWED BY
 LIMITATION #7 OF THE NOA). FBC 106.1.2* CITY

 6) SPECIFY THE OVERHANG FOR THE FLAT ROOF AT HIS
 CLOSET. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R320.7 PROTECTION AGAINST
 DECAY AND TERMITES.
 CONDENSATE LINES AND ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT
 LEAST 1 FOOT (305 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL,
 WHETHER BY UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR
 SPLASH BLOCKS. GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON
 ALL BUILDINGS WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM)
 HORIZONTAL PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON
 A ROOF ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 7) PROVIDE A WALL SECTION FOR THE SINGLE ASSEMBLY FLAT
 ROOF AT HIS CLOSET. SPECIFY THE ATTIC VENTING AND
 INSULATION. SEE R806.
  
 8) SPECIFY THE STEEL REINFORCING FOR THE 16" X 16"
 FOOTING AT THE INTERIOR LOAD BEARING WALL.
  
 9) SPECIFY THE TRUSS AND RAFTER CONNECTORS AT THE
 INTERIOR BEARING WALL.
  
 10) INDICATE HOW ATTIC VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY R806
 WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE PORCH AREA. SEE PORCH SECTION 2

 11) THE PORCH SECTIONS ON SHEET 3 HAVE AN OPTION OF
 USING 5/8" T&G PLYWOOD WITH GROOVES 6" OC. THE PLYWOOD
 USED FOR ROOF SHEATHING IS REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH
 R803.2.1 AND TABLE R503.2.1.1(1) FOR SPANS AND LOADS.
