 1.)THE PLANS STATE "TRUSS" WITH DETAILS.TRUSS
 DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE SHALL COMPLY WITH FBC R802.1.6.
  
 2.)TRUSS DESIGN DRAWINGS ARE TO INCLUDE ALL
 INFORMATION REQUIRED BY FBC R802.1.6.1.TRUSS
 ENGINEERING IS NOT REQUIRED AT THIS TIME BUT MAY HELP
 TO SHOW CODE COMPLIANCE.PLANS ARE TO STATE DESIGN
 CRITERIA FOR THE TRUSSES.PLEASE INCLUDE DESIGN WIND
 SPEED AND EXPOSURE CATEGORY, SLOPE, DESIGN LOADS
 802.1.6.1(5), LUMBER SIZE AND SPECIES, CONNECTION
 REQUIREMENTS, CONNECTOR LIMITATIONS FROM MANUFACTURER,
 FASTENING (SIZE AND NUMBER OF FASTENERS).
  
 3.)TRUSSES SHALL BE CONNECTED TO WALL PLATES BY THE
 USE OF APPROVED CONNECTORS HAVING A RESISTANCE TO
 DESIGN UPLIFT, LATERAL AND SHEAR FORCES.STATE DESIGN
 CRITERIA AND SHOW COMPLIANCE.
  
 4.)THE APPLICATION STATES THAT YOU ARE RECONSTRUCTING
 A FAMILY ROOM, WHICH IMPLIES WORK ON AN ENCLOSED ROOM
 ATTACHED TO THE RESIDENCE, BUT THE PLAN SUBMITTED SHOWS
 A FREE STANDING OPEN STRUCTURE.SHOW EXISTING
 CONDITIONS AS WELL AS THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT.THE
 FLOOR PLAN IS TO SHOW THE LOCATION OF THIS IMPROVEMENT
 IN RELATION TO THE BUILDING.PROVIDE A FLOOR PLAN OF
 THE BUILDING, WITH ROOM DESIGNATIONS, ADJACENT TO THIS
 IMPROVEMENT.THE PLAN SHOULD CLEARLY SHOW HOW EGRESS,
 ESPECIALLY FROM BEDROOMS, WILL BE AFFECTED BY THIS
 IMPROVEMENT (OR SHOW THAT IT WILL NOT BE AFFECTED).
  
 5.)FBC*106.3.5, MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR
 BUILDINGS, SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CRITERIA

 PLAN, FLOOR/ROOF FRAMING PLAN OR TRUSS LAYOUT; AND ALL

 6.)ARE THE COLUMNS PROPOSED OR EXISTING?PROVIDE A
 STRUCTURAL DETAIL, CONTINUOUS FROM THE FOUNDATION
 THROUGH THE ROOF.
  
 7.)FBC*106.1.3, BUILDING PLANS ARE TO BE DRAWN TO A
 MINIMUM OF 1/8? SCALE.NO SCALE SHOWN.
  
 8.)STATE DESIGN CRITERIA FBC R101.1.NO WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA WAS PROVIDED.ALSO STATE OTHER APPLICABLE
 DESIGN CRITERIA SUCH AS DEAD LOADS, LIVE LOADS, ROOF
 LOADS.
  
 9.)AS THE PLAN WAS DRAWN IN 3 DIMENSION RATHER THAN
 PLAN VIEW AND ELEVATIONS, THE DETAILS ARE NOT CLEAR.
 THE PAGES ARE NOT NUMBERED OR LABELED IN ANY WAY.IT
 IS DIFFICULT TO GIVE A DETAILED LIST AS I?M NOT SURE
 HOW TO CONVEY TO YOU WHICH DETAIL OR SHEET I?M
 REFERRING TO.WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS ARE TO BE
 ARCHITECTURAL QUALITY, TO SCALE, WITH ALL INFORMATION
 REQUESTED IN ITEM 5 ABOVE.
  
 10.) THE SECOND SHEET SHOWS "BEAM BASE".NO DIMENSIONS
 WERE PROVIDED OTHER THAN 51/2", WHAT IS THE WIDTH?
 LUMBER HAS TWO DIMENSIONS (SUCH AS 2X4).IT SHOWS A
 LAG SCREW BUT DOES NOT STATE WHERE THE LAG SCREW WILL
 BE INSTALLED.IT SHOWS A SCREW HOLDING THE BEAM ONTO
 THE COLUMN, BUT UPLIFT IS NOT ADDRESSED.IT ALSO SHOWS
 SCREWS ATTACHING A NOTCHED BEAM TO ANOTHER BEAM.IS
 THE SAME SCREW FOR BOTH?ONE IS GOING INTO CONCRETE,
 ONE INTO WOOD.IF THE BEAM DEPTH IS 5 1/2", AND THE
 SCREW IS 5 1/2", IT SEEMS THAT THE SCREW WOULDN'T BE
 GOING INTO ANYTHING.
  
 THE CROSS MEMBERS APPEAR TO BE GOING UP.THIS DETAIL
 IS NOT CLEAR.THE FIRST SHEET SEEMS TO SHOW A BEAM
 SPANNING 13 FEET, ANOTHER BEAM WHICH GOES THE OTHER
 DIRECTION WITH NO SPAN BETWEEN COLUMNS GIVEN.IT IS
 NOT CLEAR HOW THE TWO BEAMS ARE CONNECTED STRUCTURALLY.
 I CANNOT DETERMINE HOW THE SECOND SHEET RELATES TO THE
 FIRST SHEET AS IT SEEMS TO BE GOING ACROSS THE 13 FOOT
 SPAN, BUT WHERE DO THE TRUSSES SIT?NO INFORMATION IS
 PROVIDED AS TO HOW THE TRUSSES WILL CONNECT TO THE
 BEAM.
  
 THE SHEET MARKED ?TRUSS? IS NOT CLEAR.DRAWINGS FOR A
 TRUSS SYSTEM MUST BE REVIEWED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
 FBC802.1.6 AND ARE NOT REQUIRED AT THIS TIME.HOWEVER,
 SUBMITTAL OF THE TRUSS ENGINEERING MAY ASSIST IN
 SHOWING CODE COMPLIANCE FOR THIS PROJECT.
  
 11.)ROOF SHEATHING IS TO COMPLY WITH FBC R 803.
 PLEASE SPECIFY SHEATHING AND FASTENING.NOTE THAT NO
 SHEATHING IS SHOWN ON THE PLAN BUT THE APPLICATION
 STATES "COVER PLYWOOD".PLANS ARE TO SHOW ALL DETAILS
 AND COMPONENTS TO BE INSTALLED.
  
 12.)NO ROOF IS SHOWN ON THE PLAN, BUT YOU HAVE
 REQUESTED A ROOF PERMIT.PLEASE SPECIFY ROOFING
 MATERIAL ON THE PLAN.
