2006-12-07 13:45:30A VARIANCE WILL NOT BE REQUIRED AS LONG AS THE
 FOLLOWING CRITERIA ARE MET.THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR
 NEEDS TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 FOOT CLEARANCE IN FRONT OF
 THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE/CONNECTION, IN ACCORDANACE WITH
 NFPA 70 TABLE 110.26(A) (1).THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED
 BY MOVING THE GENERATOR 3 FEET FROM THE CONCRETE WALL.
 PLEASE MAINTAIN 2 FEET FROM THE BUILDING STRUCTURE.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING TO THE CONSTRUCTION
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL.
  
 1. REVISED SITE PLAN INDICATE THE FOLLOWING:
 A) DISTANCE FROM THE PROPERTY LINE TO THE GENERATOR
 B) DISTANCE FROM THE INSIDE OF THE WALL TO THE
 GENERATOR (3 FEET REQUIRED)
 C) DISTANCE FROM THE HOUSE STRUCTURE TO THE GENERATOR
 (2 FEET REQUIRED)
 D) OVER ALL MEASUREMENT BETWEEN THE PRIVACY WALL & THE
 BUILDING STRUCTURE
  
 2. PROVIDE A REVISION TO THE CONCRETE SLAB BY THE
 ENGINEER OF RECORD:
 A) INDICATE EXTENDED SLAB (DIMENSION)
 B) INDICATE HOW THE EXTENSION IS TIED INTO THE EXISTING
 SLAB
 C) PROVIDE REBAR SIZE AND LAYOUT, PLEASE NOTE THE
 EXTENSION SHALL BE NO LESS THAN WHAT WAS REQUIRED FOR
 THE INITIAL SLAB.
 D) A FORM INSPECTION WILL BE REQUIRED
  
 3. PROVIDE A REVISION TO THE ELECTRICAL PLANS SHOWING
 THE PROPER LOCATION OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS.THE
 CURRENT SUBMITTAL INDICATES THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
 TO THE GENERATOR TOWARDS THE HOUSE STRUCTURE WHEN IN
 REALITY IT IS TOWARD THE CONCRETE WALL.THE PLANS MUST
 SHOW THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION ORIENTATION AS INSTALLED
 IN THE FIELD.
  
 4. GAS REVISIONS IF ANY ALTERATIONS ARE TO BE DONE.
