9/17/13 I SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT A WEEK AGO PERTAINING
TO A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4300 SAN MARINO BLVD IN
WEST PALM BEACH. AS WE DISCUSSED I WANT TO SET UP
AN APPOINTMENT TO DISCUSS WITH SOMEONE THE PLANS
FOR THE ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROPERTY. THE
PROPERTY CONSISTS OF 17 BUILDINGS, A CLUBHOUSE,
AND A STORAGE FACILITY. THERE ARE FOUR DIFFERENT
TYPES OF BUILDINGS AT THE PROPERTY. I UNDERSTAND
THE LAST CO FOR THE PROPERTY WAS ISSUED IN JANUARY
OF 2003, THE REST OF THE COS WERE ISSUED IN LATE
2002. I WAS ABLE TO LOCATE THE PERMIT NUMBERS FOR
THE BUILDINGS, THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS:

I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS THE PLANS WITH KEN CONRAD
AND ASK A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT CODE COMPLIANCE.
GENERALLY, I AM LOOKING TO DISCUSS THE USE OF
PAPER BACK LATH AND PEEL AND STICK FLASHING AROUND
THE WINDOW OPENINGS. THE SECOND ISSUE OF INTEREST
IS THE USE OR LACK OF FLASHING AT THE BALCONY
EDGES AND COMPARISON TO THE PERMITTED PLANS.
 
THE DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO
THIS PROJECT WAS DON NEELY, HOWEVER I UNDERSTAND
HE RETIRED A FEW YEARS AGO. THEREFORE, I WOULD
GREATLY APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISCUSS THE
PLANS AND THE TWO AFOREMENTIONED ISSUES WITH A
BUILDING OFFICIAL. I WILL BE IN THE AREA WEDNESDAY
AND THURSDAY OF THIS WEEK AND WOULD GREATLY
APPRECIATE A SHORT MEETING.
